Deus Ex Mechanica

Disaster, be it magical fallout, fire, rampaging dargons or restless undead is a regretably common occurence in a land where mighty warriors do battle with the forces of evil, and powerful spellcasters vie for dominance over the fabric of reality itself.

Often stuck in the middle of things are the villages, towns and small hamlets where ordinary folk work hard and raise their families, often unprepared for the horrors that an invading army or duelling mages can wreak or the problems after the smoke and bodies have cleared.

Heeding the call of the displaced, and the victims of such destruction, comes a group of practically minded adventurers, whose goal is not only to fight back for the victims, but to aid them in the rebuilding of their shattered lives.
