Well, here's my attempt at a class, for one of my players, let me know what you think of the class abilities. Comments about this not being a true ninja, remember that one definition of ninja is someone who uses ninjustu, and thus these are ninja.

Ninja

CLASS TRAITS
Role: Controller.
Power Source: Ki. You draw upon hidden energy from within to power your abilites.
Key Abilities: Dexterity, Charisma, Strength

Armor Proficiencies: Cloth, leather
Weapon Proficiencies: Dagger, Short Sword, Quarterstaff, Shuriken
Bonus to Defense: +2 Reflex

Hit Points at 1st Level: 12 + Constitution score
Hit Points per Level Gained: 5
Healing Surges per Day: 7+ Constitution modifier

Trained Skills: From the class skills list below, choose three more trained skills at 1st level.
Class Skills: Acrobatics (Dex), Athletics (Str), Endurance (Con), Heal (Wis), Intimidate (Cha), Perception (Wis), Stealth (Dex), Thievery (Dex)


Ninjustu was discovered by The Great Three, who names were lost when the main academy was destroyed, the ninja in area blame the local wizard guild, who claim that one of the students had burnt it down. The word justu was created by the coded that The Great Three used, which was used to replace technique, even now it still is used. Ninjustu relies on drawing on one’s inner ki and through complex hand position, which if not done properly could cause the technique to mess-up and in worse case scenario even heavily damage the user. Genjustu, the first of two subschools of ninjustu, was created to be more stealthly, affecting the mind and required much more basic signals, but a much stronger force of will. Taijustu was later created by those that feel that many techniques left a ninja vulnerable, and thus used ki to strength their physical abilities. Some of the more powerful ninja are known to have body doubles walking around, while others, try to stand out, using intimidation to confuse others.

Each ninja picks one subschool as their school of training


Genjustu
The training of your abilities has made your illusions much harder for the opponent to shake off. On saving throws, opponents have a -1 against your genjustu.

Ninjustu
Your constant training with the hand position have giving you a better understanding of how the abilities work, allowing you to omit one square being affected by your ninjustu powers. You also gain a +2 to attack rolls with ninjustu techniques.

Taijustu
You have focused your training on using ki to enhance your physical abilities, you are now proficient with your arm and legs as weapon +2 1d8 which counts as a two handed weapon for powers. At level 3 and at every 5 level higher, they add +1 to attack and damage rolls. You also gain the toughness feat as a bonus feat.

LEVEL 1 AT-WILL JUSTU

Earth Spikes Justu
As you finish the gestures, the ground in front of you explodes with multiple spikes pushing the enemy back.

Target: Each creature in burst
Attack: Dexerity vs. Reflex
Hit: 1d6+Dexterity modifier damage, and you push the target back 2 squares.
Increase damage to 2d6+Dexterity modifier at 21st level.
Fireball Lesser Justu
With the final gesture, you create a small burst of fire that injures those that are within.

Standard Action Area burst 1 within 10 squares
Target: Each creature in burst
Attack: Dexerity vs. Reflex
Hit: 1d6+Dexterity modifier fire damage.
Increase damage to 2d6+Dexterity modifier at 21st level.

Slow Body Justu
As you control your ki, the target starts to believe hers legs lose their strength.

Attack: Charisma vs. Will
Hit: 1d6+Charisma modifier psychic damage, and target is slowed (save ends).
Increase damage to 1d6+Charisma modifier damage at 21st level.

Shifting Strike Justu
You bring your weapon to bear and as your strike hits, you cause a slight movement, either yours or your opponents.

Target: One creature
Attack: Strength vs. AC
Hit: 1[W]+Strength modifier damage and shift either you or your target 1 square.
Increase damage to 2[W]+Strength modifier damage at 21st level.

LEVEL 1 ENCOUNTER JUSTU
Wind Spear Justu
As you bring your hands into position, you release a strong burst of wind at the opponent, forces them back away from you.

Hit: 2d8+Dexterity modifier force damage and target is shifted 1 square.
Ninjustu The number squares target is shifted is 1+charisma modifier.

LEVEL 1 DAILY JUSTU
Fire Pillar Justu
With the final seal, two pillars of fire appear and burn your opponents severely, leaving lingering burns.
