So, what do you guys think? ;D

Lactose Intolerant [General]

Benefit: Your are unable to digest dairy products. Taking this feat immediately grants you two bonus feats. This feat may only be taken at first level, and characters taking this feat may not ever use any feats, character classes, spells, races, prestige classes, or other character options from any source other than the Player’s Handbook or DMG, with the exception of the Lactose Intolerant feat.

------------------------------------
Note that the net gain is a single feat, since the character has to spend a feat on Lactose Intolerant.

It would work better as a flaw then a feat, though since the inability to drink milk isn't related to adventuring the benefit it gains also should no be.

Well, the name is sort of a joke, the character just can't stand cheese, therefore he is only made using the player's handbook.

...*snicker*

Because the PHB and DMG have no cheesey combos at all.

Well, duh, WotC balances all their core matierial before releasing a new edition so that errta or other updates are not needed

How would a character with this feat react to these? http://www.giantitp.com/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.pl?board=homebrew;action=display;num=11601832 29

I think, technically, it should be something more like.....

Flaw:
Lactose Intolerant:
You can't take Feats or PrC's from anything but the PHB and DMG.

With the rules on flaws, much more concise.

Don't judge or I'll summon CoDzilla on your cheesy flank. The PHB has alot of unbalanced cheese, and things like Psionics and warlocks, several other things are all balanced splat material.

Yes, but a character with the Lactose Intolerant feat can't take flaws.

Technically, a character with lactose intolerant can't take lactose intolerant, if it didn't have the text stating that it was allowed. A flaw with the same text wouldn't be any different.

And yeah, for a cleric, druid, or wizard, this is basically a free feat. They can still use all of the broken spells and combinations from core. Core is not balanced. Stop acting like it is.
