Personally, I would like to see the Arkenstone, if only because I want to see Thorin show up and take it.
And is in not kinda cool what you learn when you re-read Tolkien?

Definitely the Arkensaw.

..yeah the Arkensaw has been mentioned elsewhere before, it seems like a good pun but perhaps the authors have something else is mind for us!

as there has been speculation that whatever it's called, it would be related to Doll-a-mancy, then I would gues something to do with arts and crafts...Arkenthread!

The arkenneedle is one I think would work well. It was brought up in the original arkentool speculation thread:

...i thuoght an Arkeneedle would be too difficult to find...unless it was a giantly (in the playground) oversized needle...plus would it have one N or two???

....hence why I mentioned Arkenthread....afterall you need both a needle and thread!

maybe dollamancy is not really related to cloth golems though, as it's all speculation, maybe some other forms of yet-to-be-seem golems....so maybe the Arkenrattle!

The arkenpliers are not exactly the size of most pliers; the assumption is that an arkenneedle would also be the size of a sword, perhaps like an épée.

The arkeniron, a claymore-sized soldering iron with a glowing tip.

Or get some real fire damage from an arkentorch, like an oxyacetylene torch.

I wonder about the scale of the tools; could the arkendish be resized, like the eyebook, down to a more portable size? If so, could the arkenhammer be resized to warhammer size for Parson?

I wonder about the scale of the tools;

So do I. The pliers are too big for an erfworlder, too small for a Titan. The hammer is about the right size, but the proportions are only appropriate for one of those anime funhammers you occasionally see... There's no good sense of scale for the Arkendish, but it could be nigh any size and be considered "appropriate," although it's proportioned for a minidish.

as long as were on the subject of an arkendish i would like to point out charlies castle: http://www.giantitp.com/comics/erf0117.html notice the satalite dish? :smalltongue: it IS possible..

anyway, an arkenboombox or arkenspeaker huuuge sound damage to whatever its pointed at and a Boost to your allies (for the music) could by rhyme-o-mancy if that includes sounds/music

ArkenPlunger (dirtomancy)

I figured that dirtomancy would be the arkenshovel or maybe the arkenspade
Also, the arkencomputer would e kinda cool

Assuming that each tool is linked to fate magic (apparently Ansom implied that according to the thread), then any additional tools need to be linked to some of the 'spare' slots.

The dish is definately linked to Thinkamancy. The other two are probably Croakamancy for the Pliers (due to its power over undead) and possibly Carnymancy for the Hammer (as it looks like a toy hammer rather than a 'real' hammer).

Predictamancy
Dollamancy
Changemancy
Thinkamancy -> Dish
Signamancy
Croakamancy -> Pliers
Carnymancy -> Hammer
Healomancy

So, maybe for the spare slots

Predictamancy
Cards (tarrot cards)
Telescope (for astrology)

Dollamancy
Needle would work here (for voodoo dolls)

Changemancy (not sure on this one)
Eraser (though might be deletionism)
Screwdriver (for taking things apart and putting them back together)

Signmancy
Paint brush
Chisel
Fireworks (though that would be consumable)

Healomancy
Stethoscope
Syringe
Thermometer

I';d like to enter Arkensaw for healomancy, as it is a bone-saw. Anyone who's played TF or TF2 know how good a weapon that is.

^ yeah bone-ubersaw for ze win

anyway those are'nt all the magic schools, but whatever,

i would like to enter a spade or hoe for flower power, its pretty obveous how that would be used

moneymancy could be a monicle that lets you see the true value of any item and also makes you able to lower the prices of things (like say buying a spell)

Mathamancy -> Arkenabacus, assuming not all the Arkentools are tied to Fate magics.

You know it would be awesome.

Hmm, I came in here with an idea, but DevilDan seems to be ahead of me:

Or get some real fire damage from an arkentorch, like an oxyacetylene torch.

You missed the pun, though: it'll be the Arkenwelder (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arc_welder)!

Arkenspatula. It would be discovered in the crumbling ruins of long-defunct Spatula City.
