legends talk of worlds beyond ours.Wisemen, shaman, even the clergymen all base thier legends on these worlds. But what exactly is myth, and what is truth? For most that is unknown. There are those who walk the world, believe what they choose to, and dont dare question any of it. These people are the ones we protect. "We" being the other half of this knowledgless coin. "We" are the disciples. Led by the great magician Beranabus. We know the truth. Those that walk the world, look to their gods, and step blindly into the abyss are soon dead. We have learned to not take truth for fact.

There is a world outside of ours. Many worlds to be exact. They are ruled by horrid beasts, named "The Demonata". These horrific creatures are born of pure magic. Their entire world filled to the brim with a special energy that many have come to consider "Magical". These creatures are far from friendly however. Most demons seek only the flesh and blood of the living, and thanks to the occasional evil or insane mage, they manage to get into our world. Thats when things get bad.

The portal closes behind you, an unnamed plane lying in your sites. THIS is the world of the demonata, THIS is hell.

Things to take note of-
Magic- Magic ONLY works in the realm of the demonata, or when a connection exist. (via a portal) any mage can open a portal, although this practise takes a large amount of time and skill.

Time- time flows differently in the realm of the demonata.

Physics- for those of you chancing on using knowledge like physics or chemisrty, be aware that the world of the demonata does not adhere to the laws of physics. Unless stated otherwise, the world function JUST LIKE EARTH, for all senses. The demonic worlds are purely magic based.

Bryon Pettersen: You cross the portal. dusting off your suit. ahead of you you see a world of pure twisted melevolance. the entire plane is crafted of water, yet you stand atop it with ease. You dont seem to sink. All around you are decaying trees, and a thick mist. You hear it in the distance, or is it nearby? a screaming? or...howling. Is it the trees? certainly not, how could it be. This world gives you chills. Whatever reason you find yourself here, your stuck, make the best of it.

Jade Blackstone: What does snow look like in hell? Very weird. You cross a portal into the realm of the demonata. The world infront of you is covered in fire and snow. Lying within the snow are riveres and pools of magma, and the sky shimmers with blazing flames. This world is strange, its both painfully cold, and impossibly hot. Whatever purpose you had, wether accidently or not, to cross into this world, your here and theres no going back.

Frei Ein Lamor: It can only get soo dark. Or so you thought. This is different. A bitter chill lays on your flesh. Are you underground? Who knows, its too dark to tell. From the touch of the earth, and smell of the air you would think your in a cave. But then, why would there be a massive light at the end. Although this world is pitch black, you can see one shimmering far into the distance. Is this world your tomb? your new home? I wouldent know.

Cadman Adair: Well great, as if your life was bad enough, now your on a small rock in the middle of the sky. Why is it this world is so strange? The world of the demonata know no physical limitations. You find youself on a platform of stone, in the middle of an endless abyss of sky. No light source anywhere, and yet everything is illuminated as if it were midday. Other rock platforms lie about, nothing more then a hop...skip...and JUMP away!

Alright, you all ready to face the horrors of the demonic realm? Prepare your wits, they will be your BEST tool.

Side note- I want you to have your own reasons for traversing the demonic world. It can be anything, for those of you unimaginative I will supply a couple "plothooks" to get you moving.

1. The disciples numbers have been thinning, why is this? ( this will be played on wether any of your characters know about it or not)
2. You were in a life or death situation, and it was all so sudden, you dident MEEN to pull yourself into this world. A fluke at best.
3. Your gaurd was off, it was nothing more then a howl in the night. When you awoke you found yourself here.

( those are suggestions, feel free, and encouraged, to come up with your own quest)

Bryan stands still for a moment, disoriented, thinking that perhaps he'd gotten a sudden case of vertigo. But the feeling of dizziness passes quickly, leaving him in a place not at all like the parking garage he'd just been walking through. It seems surreal, and somehow anticlimactic, that he should have so little reaction to suddenly ending up... Where?

Truth, his heart rate is beginning to rise as he takes in the scenery, a mix of scream and howl reaching his ears and an unfamiliar swampy odor entering his nose. He reaches into a pocket, feeling his car keys - his only potential weapon should something from a horror movie come barreling out of the twisted trees.

"What the hell...?" he mutters, his voice quiet and hesitant. He remembers the end of the workday, the last cup of coffee, the good-bye to the secretary, the walk to the parking garage... He had been in sight of his car... And there had been someone there. Someone sitting by one of the large cement supports. A homeless man, he'd assumed, but he kept his distance anyway, feeling something was off. Bryan got the distinct feeling that this whole series of events has something to do with that man.

He turns a slow circle, peering through the trees in search of movement, looking for a light, a path, anything to give him a direction to travel in - for staying here likely would do no good.

Cadman Adair- The impossibly expansive sky of this world goes on far out of your range of sight. There is an indefinate number of rocks and platforms in this sky. Some as small as pebbles, and as massive as a house. Most tend to be large enough to jump on or to. The platform your on is big enough to not require any balance to keep from tipping, however when you strike it with a magically empowered fist it immediatly crumbles. ( Look out!! :smalltongue: )

Frie picked up a handful of the dirt below letting it slide through hir slender fingers, the coarse texture, and grainy feel of it the only familar thing is this abyss so black. Yet, something odd was going on here, even in the silence s/he could hear something off in the distance beyond this unhallowed abyss.

"What is this sound that pierces mine ears. it sings of loneliness, and torment. Is it the sounds of fellow souls trapped within this damned abyss, or is it merely the wind of this strange plane?"

Cadman Adair- You already know all too well the world you are in. And are aware of the use of magic. As such it takes less then a heartbeat for you to whip your boomerang out. Frei Ein Lamor- You pull out your knife. Scanning the area. It takes you only seconds to find a solid wall...or, is it? The wall is moist, and malliable. Your dagger sinks in, and a squishing noice occurs. A stream of some kind of liquid spills onto your wrist and hand. A foul smell escaping the liquid.

The Howel you heard before escapes again, the wind trailing after.

Frei- Your eyes shimmer with a mystical energy. The darkness lifts. The first thing you notice is the liquid on your hand... Its, BLOOD!! The odor, brings you to your second sight. The entire cavernous area is not normal. The floor is indeed earth, and soil. The walls however are something weirder, something WORSE! Flesh covers the entire perimitar of the "walls". And within this flesh are bodies, as if 1000 humans were melted into the wall.

The last thing to catch your eye, is the light. A cloaked stands near the light, murmerring to him/herself. The light is shaped much like a elongated window. ( 5ft in high, 3 ft in width with a rounded top) Its yet to be completed. The window has shards missing.

The last thing you notice is the howling wind. It comes from the mouths of the dead. They themselves do not move, yet its unmistakable. The bodies are causing the sound and the pressurous air.

Cadman- The stone is hard and grey. Its strange, grey stones? Not otherworldly, jsut strange. Within each stone are tiny veins of red. But what metal is red?

Cadman thinks for a split second and realises that since there is no planet or large mass, only smaller masses and he's been falling in one direction, coupled with the fact that solid stone creatures would weigh too much to realistically fly without mansion sized wings, that gravity must be mental and controlled by where you think you should fall. He leaps in the opposite direction from the creatures, landing on the nearest stone and immediatly leaping "downwards" onto the next nearest stone and repeating the process. Cadman remembers his meal just before entering the Demonata realm. He also remembers the little effort needed to flail around his huge metal boomerang. Given that all the oxygen atoms in his stomach contents would be the size of a large apple and lighter. Since the space between atoms in "real world" objects is theoretically enough to hold a universe and he's been lugging around a huge metal chunk, individual atoms shouldn't count if he uses a lot of them, as he is doing now it should count as one small, but not too small object to be an exceptionally huge effort. A sight incomes quickly. A pair of beings, freefloating much as yourself. Drifting in this void. One seems to be a little child? Not clear if its a boy or a girl. Wearing well too much padded fencing armor. ( Fanboys char) and a man both cloaked in brown and as tall as the man you have been following. However the man with the young child does not wear a hood. He tears a hand free, pulling the keys out of his pocket and attempting to stab at whatever his holding his other arm currently. He kicks, twists, and stabs with the keys, feeling an odd sort of chill permeate the water as he does so.

(He is unconsciously using magic, making any impact done by him tear apart the "skin" of the vines/tentacles/whatever by essentially using force magic. The chill in the water is just a side-effect, and probably won't freeze anything unless it's cold already.)

Frei, getting slightly creeped out by the fact that he is STILL staring at hir, responds slowly.
" Frei Ein Lamor, child of the late Mr.James Lamor, and the late Mrs.Sarah Lamor."
S/he says with a flourish.

Remembering his lessons on demonology in general and Lord loss in particular he recalls Lord loss's chessboard dimension, as well as the demon lords chilldlike familiar. Cadman remembers the spacelike area in the board and the familiar artery. He remembers the demons only constant features are a childlike body and flaming eyes.

"How do I know you are who you say you are? Quickly, remove your glasses quickly."

Frei is astonished at this request, less than 10 second they had barely spoken, and he was already asking hir to remove items of clothing!
"I think not. We've known one another for nary a hour, and yet ye think thy have the ability to request that I remove mine clothing
?! I thinkest not Knave."

"How do I know you aren't hiding demons eyes under there?" Cadman says impatently "For all I know you're leading me into a trap!"

"Your accosting me of crimes unproven with nought a reason, except that I have refused thy demand that I remove my clothing?! I had mine doubts about thine charecter prehand with thine hungry eyes, but now you hast done nought by confirm every negative aspect of thee."
Frei says rather indignantly.

"I generally don't take chances when it comes to unnatural homicidal maniacs who can change shape and kill dozens of humans with no effort." Cadman says "Not on their home turf".

"What art thou talking about? I've given thee nary a reason to consider mine self a beast profane, and I art just as lost in the damned abyss as thee are lost in thine own paranoid theories!"
Hir glasses are still on despite a minor green glow starting to grow there, nothing noticeable, but something that will grow quickly.

"Generally normal people don't get so damned defensive over a two second test" Cadman retorts, growing suspicious, hands in his pocket for his shuriken in case the child attacks.

"Art thou mad!? Thou asked me if I would remove mine clothing from mine person, a request most foul of a child, lest thee come from a land where ravaging children is commonplace
among the commoner filth!"
Frie retorts, the glow growing now to be almost noticeable, but due to the large, and spiky nature of the glasses, and the distance between them keeping it hidden for now.

"Well, thou willest just have to takest the risk, and turn thy back to a small child if thine wishest to hast that knowledge. But, nay, I willest never remove mine clothing for the sake of easing thine suspiousion that I may be a being that I hast known naught of till this day."
Frei turns around indignantly the flames now visable from the other angle of vision, but not large enough to be flickering over hir head or the around the sides.

Jade takes a deep, steadying breath, looks about, and decides that frozen lake of fire or no, she can't pass up an opportunity to get out of this crazy dimension. Before she can talk herself out of it, she sprints across the ice towards the odd window.
