View Full Version : (As far as I know) Completely New Magic System

A while back I had the idea of a magic system based on components, where a character's spells could be created on the fly from a set of precreated effects. I've got a very developed version for my homebrew system(See it here (http://namelesskingdom.com/doku/doku.php/mcs) and here (http://namelesskingdom.com/doku/doku.php/spells)), and I'd like to know what the people think(Two things in particular).

1: Does the math involved in the magic system make it too 'clunky,' and if so, do you have any suggestions for streamlining it?

2: Do you think there is a market for a streamlined d20 conversion?
