People were complaining about how warlocks are not really dishing out the damage that a striker should be. I decided to make some homebrew feats to see if this helps any.

Quick note: Credit goes to Black16 from GameFAQs for giving me the idea for the first feat.

Ally's Curse
Prerequisite: Warlock
When an ally damages an enemy under your warlock's curse, the ally may choose to apply extra damage equal to your CHA modifier. This damage increases to your CHA modifier + 2 at 11th level, and your CHA modifier + 4 at 21st level. Each ally may only apply this extra damage once per turn.

Cursed Pact
Prerequisite: Warlock
When you attack an enemy under your warlock's curse with a daily, or encounter power from your selected pact and miss you may reroll the attack roll. Use the second result, even if it is lower.

Mental Curse
Prerequisite: Warlock
Increase the damage done with your curse by your INT modifier. This damage increases to your INT modifier + 2 at 11th level, and your INT modifier + 4 at 21st level.

Reliable Pact
Prerequisite: Warlock, Paragon Tier
All encounter, and daily powers from your selected pact that you use on an enemy under your curse are treated as having the reliable keyword.

So there you have it. Feedback is welcome.

I agree that warlocks could use some more damage, but some of these are definitely overpowered.

Allys Curse is a fun idea, but it needs some nerfing. I'd make it Con or Cha modifier (give Infernal and Vestige warlocks some love), and limit it to happening once per round.

Cursed Pact is very good, but perhaps fair. It should only work on daily powers, and I'm toying with the idea of a -2 penalty on the next attack roll, or some other downside. Take damage equal to half your level if the second attack misses, perhaps? There are several possibilities.

Mental Curse seems to scale too much. Your intelligence modifier already goes up, and this is going to be happening a lot. The +2 and +4 aren't necessary. This should definitely be a paragon or epic feat, since it would be appropriate as a level 16 paragon path feature. You know, simply increasing the dice to d8s (and making it a heroic feat) would be more balanced, but less fun. I think this could work as an epic feat.

Reliable Pact is too good. Maaaaybe if you limit it to dailies and make it an epic feat, but I'm still not sure how fair this is. The fact that you're limited to powers from your pact is a good restriction, however. I'd think this one over carefully.

Great ideas, but some problems in execution. Overall they're well done, needing only a few changes for balance. I think the basic concepts are solid. Then again, it's late at night and I'm low on sleep, so what do I know? :smallwink:

Concept:
Consume Curse: Some feats allow a Warlock to consume a curse on a target. When the curse on a target is consumed, the target becomes immune to this Warlock's curse until the end of this Warlock's next turn.

You cannot Consume a curse twice. You cannot Consume a curse that is in the midst of being removed.

Some possible effects that boost warlock damage:
As a Minor Action, Consume Curse on a target you have damaged since the start of your turn. Deal Curse damage to that target.

As a Free Action, Consume a Curse when you are dealing Curse damage to a target. Place a Curse on two other enemies in Burst 5.

As an Free Interrupt, Consume a Curse on the target of an Encounter or Daily attack power roll that you just missed. Cancel the use of the Power (but still use the action).

As a Free Interrupt, Consume a Curse on the target of an Encounter attack roll power that just missed. Reroll the attack roll.

As an Free Reaction, Consume a Curse on a target your Ally has hit and rolled damage on. Deal Curse damage to the target.

Another idea would be to use a multi-class feat system, similar to weapon specialization feats, but focuses on doing more damage, probably by such modifications to the curse feature. Perhaps something like this:

<Curse Focus> Training [Multiclass Curse]
Prerequisite: Warlock's Curse Class Feature
Once per encounter, when you would place a Warlock's Curse on a target, you may make him your <Curse Focus>. Whenever you deal curse damage to your <Curse Focus>, you may deal an additional damage equal to your INT modifier. The target remains your <Curse Focus> until the end of the encounter or until it falls below 0 hit points.

<Curse Focus> Novice [Multiclass]
Prerequisite: 4th level, <Curse Focus> Training
You may swap one 3rd level or higher encounter attack power you know for the Accursed Foe attack power.
Accursed Foe
Encounter Arcane, Implement
Standard Action Range 10
Target: One Creature
Attack: CHA vs. Reflex or CON vs. Reflex
Hit: 2d10 + CHA or CON mod damage. If you have cursed the target, it takes extra damage equal to your INT modifier.

<Curse Focus> Expert [Multiclass]
Prerequisite: 8th level, <Curse Focus> Training
You may swap one 6th level or higher utility power you know for the Reliable Pact utility power.
Reliable Pact
Daily Arcane
Immediate Reaction Personal
Trigger: You miss your <Curse Focus> with a daily power.
Effect: Ignore any "Miss:" section of the power, that power is not expended.

<Curse Focus> Specialist [Multiclass]
Prerequisite: 10th level, <Curse Focus> Training
You may swap one 9th level or higher daily attack power you know for the Expanded Curse attack power.
Expanded Curse
Daily Arcane, Implement
Standard Action Range 10
Target: One Creature
Attack: CHA vs. Reflex or CON vs. Reflex
Hit: 3d12 + CHA or CON mod damage. If the target is your <Curse Focus>, the first attack of each of your allies that hits this target before the end of your next turn deals bonus damage equal to your INT mod.
Miss: Half damage, and only the first attack to hit this target before the end of your next turn gets the bonus damage.

How about that? Names are meh, especially <Curse Focus> as the overall name for the set. The idea is powers that deal more damage when focused on a single target, forgetting any controller aspects of the class. The bonus damage from the Training Feat on your <Curse Focus> may be too much for it to last the whole encounter though.

Sorry, I haven't had time to respond. Here is an update to the stuff.

Ally's Curse
Prerequisite: Warlock
When an ally damages an enemy under your warlock's curse, the ally may choose to apply extra damage equal to your CHA modifier. Each ally may only apply this extra damage once per round.

Cursed Spell
Prerequisite: Warlock
When you take this feat select one encounter, or daily power that you know. When you use this spell against an enemy under your curse and miss, you may reroll the attack. At 14th level you may select a second spell to add this effect to, and a third one at level 24. You may retrain this feat to select a different power. If you retrain a selected power, then you may select a different spell. Use the second roll, even if it is lower.

Cursed Zone
Prerequisite: Warlock
If you have not used your Warlock's curse this encounter then you may create a close burst 1 zone. Any creature other than your self that enters, or starts their turn in the zone takes psychic damage as though you used your warlocks curse. A creature already in the zone may move around in it without taking damage. The zone disappears if you use your Warlock's curse, or become unconscious. At 21st level the zone becomes a close burst 2.

Mental Curse
Prerequisite: Warlock
Increase the damage done with your curse by your INT modifier. This damage is counted as psychic damage. ( I added this part because I felt it was appropriate).

Reliable Pact
Prerequisite: Warlock, Paragon Tier
When you take this feat select one encounter, or daily power that you know. The slected spell is considered to have the reliable keyword when used against an enemy under your curse. At 14th level you may select a second spell to add this effect to, and a third one at level 24. You may retrain this feat to select a different power. If you retrain a selected power, then you may select a different spell.

<Curse Focus> Expert [Multiclass]
Prerequisite: 8th level, <Curse Focus> Training
You may swap one 6th level or higher utility power you know for the Reliable Pact utility power.
Reliable Pact
Daily Arcane
Immediate Reaction Personal
Trigger: You miss your <Curse Focus> with a daily power.
Effect: Ignore any "Miss:" section of the power, that power is not expended.

This power does not work. Hint: Immediate Reaction as the action used and the Trigger do not mix at all.

I think the power fits well as a free action. My problem is the powerswap, and multiclassing. I mean, you could just pickup the rouge multiclass for some nice [W] attacks.
