I know it's not for a few more days yet, but the passing of one of my husband's peers in Afghanistan really hit home for me today.

Leaving all politics out, please take a few moments this weekend to think about those men and women who have given their lives for us.

I've actually lost a few family members, one quiet recently, over in the middle east... And it's getting to me now too... He was way too young, and it was unfair how he just left us all... My condolences to you, Thaco. Have a good Memorial Day weekend.
