I liked the idea of making a succubus class for my players, but the savage species/monster manual version seemed to be both underpowered and have situational overpowered abilities.

I built a variant inspired by both the succubus and the Incubus (Dragon 353 races) using spell-like abilities at the same time that wizards get them and a full BAB without many attack bonuses to go with it.

As a 20 level racial-class i avoided the issue of multiclassing altogether. The power level is intended to be between the druid and a warblade.

Explanatory Text

Disguise self- The succubus can disguise herself as a human or elf, but this only affects the visual appearance. Any discrepancy allows for save for disbelief. If used to imitate a specific individual, the succubus gets a +10 on disguise checks. The appearance of held objects may also be disguised up to a maximum total of 50lb.
Slowfall (ex)- At level 2 a succubus’s wings are too small to fly, but can reduce falling speed as the featherfall spell. This ability only works when the succubus is carrying no more than 50lb and no or custom-lighted armor.
At level 18 the wings have developed sufficiently to allow sustained flight with a speed of 50’ and average maneuverability.
Blink (su)- As a standard action, a succubus of level 6 or higher can teleport 50’. At level 14 she may do this as a move action. Her capacity is limited to 50lb, and if she is carrying or firmly attached to more than 50lb of weight, the ability cannot be used. Being caught in a net or lasso, being grappled, or wearing heavy armor may all prevent such teleportation.
Spell-like abilities- Spell-like abilities provoke attacks of opportunity as normal. In addition, arcane failure chance is applied for armors heavier than light and any shield except the buckler. Caster level equals hit dice.
Teleport (Sp)- Succubus plus up to 50lb of weight. As the blink ability, being entangled or held may prevent this ability from being used.
Gate (Sp)- When using the gate ability, the succubus can only access the planar travel function, and cannot
Tail lash- At level 1 the succubus gains a secondary natural attack that deals d4+1/2 str damage. As a secondary attack, this attack is always made at -5 to hit. At level 10 the damage increases to d6 and it threatens a critical hit on a roll of 19-20. At level 18 the tail gains a reach of 10’ and can be used to trip with a +2 bonus, without provoking an attack of opportunity.
Soul stealing kiss- At level 2 a succubus deals d4 wisdom damage with a kiss or similar act of passion against a living target. Against unwilling targets she must first establish a grapple. A successful kiss also automatically casts a suggestion (dc 13+charisma mod) to continue.
If the creature is reduced to 0 wisdom by this power, the succubus may drain the creature’s soul, level draining the target by an amount equal to its hit dice and gaining the usual benefits (5 temporary hitpoints per level) and typically destroying the target.
At level 10 the succubus deals d6 wisdom damage and may drain
Outsider Form Succubi are native outsiders, being able to be raised from the dead. A succubus possesses a barbed tail as well as mostly vestigal horns and wings, and has legs ending in cloven hooves. Because of the nature of their feet, they cannot wear normal shoes (and may struggle to disguise their clopping footfalls) and their wings and tails prevent them from wearing armor that is not custom designed (x2 base cost modifier, light and medium armor only). Optionally, a succubus may wear specially designed horseshoes, with a pair having the same cost and benefits as a full set for a horse.
Telepathy A succubus can communicate with any creature that has an intelligence score within 100’. This can be blocked by 2’ of stone or a thin layer of lead. Telepathic communication is 2-way.
