Since I don't think Abardam even visited the site this year (yet). Does anyone know how Abardam got his art to the level that he had it? :smallconfused:

Examples:
-His avatar (http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f350/abardam/clawavatar-1.png)
-The Legend of THE BEAST (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=78026)

Mainly the reason that I am asking is because I wish to make a fan-related Interactive Story with concepts from THE BEAST. Now, I'm never gonna replace Abardam's style and I know that, I just wanna bring back something that a lot of Playgrounders really enjoyed and may miss.

He probably has a tablet... And he quite possibly practiced... A lot.

Perhaps just persistence, visualization, and patience. Try drawing a preliminary sketch with 1-pixel thick green lines, then a final outline with 5-pixel-thick black outlines. Then add details, perhaps 3 pixels thick, within the outline. Then, use the paint bucket to fill them in.

Also, just be awesome.

With that, you should be set.

Tablet and practise.

He used Flash for a lot of stuff, iirc.

Well to be totally honest, I do not have a tablet (yet). But in the meantime I will try to make some different with the help of Inkscape (it won't be like Abardam's style though). And thanks for you twos' help.
