Inkscape tutorial?

Is there a tutorial on inkscape? After tinkering for a couple of hours, I still don't know how to copy-paste, make stuff transparent and the like.

In case the tutorial doesn't cover it...

On my Mac (PCs may vary), Control + C copies, and Control + V pastes. Making things transparent requires selecting them, then going to the bottom left (where it has the shape/line colors), and messing with that little number with an up arrow and a down arrow next to it. The lower the number, the more transparent the object in question.
