...I'd recommend against perusing some of the mature-content-marked things, especially if you're, y'know, under the age of whatever in your area, since it has either heavily erotic undertones or is actually mildly sexually explicit/implicit. I think there's only 5 that you'd have to worry about, and most of 'em are obvious from their names. But other than that, meh. It's NSFW due to the fact that it's deviantART, but it's probably not going to get me an infraction just to link to the main hub of my account.

You can release it under the Creative Commons license, and there's an option to watermark the art. That's about it.

I have a deviantart account, but only so that I can view everything without it getting blocked for being 'mature content'. I have none of my work posted there, and with any luck I never will. The work that I choose to share with the world at large, I do so for reasons apart from just showcasing them (although that is a part of it), and I think that a little bit of the message gets lost in the sheer size of Deviantart... and possibly its general mentality as well.

Whether you want to call it intellectual snobbery or personal preference, I have my own very simple little website that I adore all the more for it being mine. Eventually, I will have the courage to actually put the link in my signature, in the hopes that I will stop being a flake about adding to it, and maybe it'll grow into its intended purpose... >.>
