I saw a movie called "Quest for Camelot" with a pseudodragon my annoying little brother, who messed with this post, the other day. It gave me an idea.

Ayden
"It wasn't a PIGEON. It was a FALCON. with silver wings."
Ayden is Garret's animal companion and Merlin's familiar. Also known as Silver Wings, Ayden helped prevent Ruber's griffin from bringing Excaliber to him.
Note: I am assuming Merlin is a 20th level wizard or sorceror with 13 Con and average hit points.

Devon/Cornwall
(sung) "If I didn't have you!"
Devon and Cornwall are a two-headed dragonThey never agree on much, and would give anything to seperate from each other. They've been picked on by other dragons, because, as they put it:

Ruber's fiendish servant:

Technically, Ruber can't cast spell because his wisdom is too low [see blackguard text]. He'd need at least a wisdom of 11 to cast spells.

He probably should have higher Charisma too -- people may not like him at all but they all seem to listen to him (especially since he has a habit of tying up his guests). He is loudmouthed and blustery and quick to anger but people jump when he says, "jump."

Just my two cents.

Whoops! That's why I didn't put them in at first!
Also, I think that Ruber gains a substantial bonus to Intimidate checks, and besides, his men seem to be murderous.
Well.

Actually, it's fine if Ruber can't cast any spells as he uses a potion to combine his henchmen (and the chicken) with weapons to turn them into metal warriors. I'll think about what it would take to create a potion like that. Definitely something evil and powerful. In the movie, reversing the potion required the use of the Sword in the Stone, but that would be a bit contrived for a game. I'm sure that there could be alternative methods.

Also, Ruber should be an Aberration as his Type changes when he gains the Corrupted Template. You can simply note that he still looks mostly human [other than looking rather bigger and more musclebound and a bit insane].

Edit: Ruber's griffon should have the Fiendish Subtype and gain Smite Good as a special attack [see also Blackguard text]. It would also get DR 5/magic, Resistance to Cold and Fire/5.

I like that you used the Book of Vile Darkness but the Knight is from Player's Handbook II and you should note which abilities come from each class.

Aura of Despair (Su): As a third level Blackguard, Ruber radiates a malign aura. [See Book of Vile Darkness for details]

Aura of Evil (Ex): The power of a blackguard’s aura of evil (see the detect evil spell) is equal to his class level plus his cleric level, if any.

Bulwark of Defense (Ex): As a Knight, Ruber's strict vigilance and active defensive maneuvers force his opponents to move with care. [See Player's Handbook II for details]

Command Undead (Su): As a 3rd level Blackguard, Ruber gains the supernatural ability to command and rebuke undead. He commands undead as would a cleric of two levels lower.

Corrupt Weapon: Blackguards have access to a special spell, corrupt weapon, which is the opposing counterpart of the paladin spell bless weapon. [See Book of Vile Darkness for details].

Damage Reduction (Ex): Corrupted creatures gain damage reduction
according to their hit dice. (See Book of Vile Darkness page 186 for details).

Dark Blessing (Su): A blackguard applies his Charisma modifier (if positive) as a bonus on all saving throws.

Detect Good (Sp): At will, a blackguard can use detect good as a spell-like ability, duplicating the effect of the detect good spell.

Disruptive Attack (Su): The corrupt creature deals additional vile damage when it touches uncorrupted, living, corporeal nonoutsiders. [See Book of Vile Darkness for details].

Enhanced Power (Su): The save DCs of any and all of the corrupt creature’s special attacks increase by +4.

Fallen Paladins: Blackguards who have levels in the paladin class (that is to say, are now ex-paladins) gain extra abilities the more levels of paladin they have.
A fallen paladin who becomes a blackguard gains all of the following abilities that apply, according to the number of paladin levels the character has.
1-2 Paladin Levels: Smite good 1/day. (This is in addition to the ability granted to all blackguards at 2nd level.
3-4 Paladin levels: Lay on hands. Once per day, the blackguard can use this supernatural ability to cure himself or his fiendish servant of damage equal to his Charisma bonus × his level.

Fast Healing (Ex): Each round, a corrupted creature heals damage equal to half of its Hit Dice (maximum of 10 points healed).

Poison Use: Blackguards are skilled in the use of poison and never risk accidentally poisoning themselves when applying poison to a blade.

Smite Good (Su): As a 5th level Blackguard, Ruber may attempt to smite good twice a day with one normal melee attack. [See Book of Vile Darkness.]

Sneak Attack: This ability, gained at 4th level, is like the rogue ability of the same name. The extra damage increases by +1d6 every third level beyond 4th (7th and 10th). If a blackguard gets a sneak attack bonus from another source the bonuses on damage stack.
