help with bookmarks.

I need help with my bookmarks. is there anyway to select say ten of them at a time? or do I have to put them in their individual folders one by one?

Are you using Firefox? I don't know about the others, but I know that you can hold down shift while in "Organize Bookmarks to select multiple bookmarks to move, assuming they're adjacent.

yeah it's in firefox but it doesn't seem to be working.

I don't know that much about Firefox, but I'll try. Where are you editing from?

from organize bookmarks. I could just do it one by one but it'd take an extremely long time to do so.

I don't know, I just tested it, and it works fine on mine. All I did was go to the Bookmarks Toolbar, held down shift, and selected the first and the last of the objects I wanted then dragged them into the folder. Are you using an older version of Firefox?

/sigh. I feel old. I thought this thread was going to be about bookmarks, the things to mark a place in a book.

P.S. I don't use bookmarks; I'm pretty good about remembering where I stopped reading and can flip to it quickly. I also tend to toss the bookmark aside, and lose it. When I need to look up for a moment, or move, I just keep a finger where I'm at.

Oh and usually, I don't keep bookmarks of webpages either. I just remember URLS, like how I used to remember phone numbers before I got my cell phone =P
