Do you mind if we stick with this map? The magma pillar is cool, but there's not enough space in that map for something this character would like to do.

Buffs:

No all-day buffs hurt. Grumble, Grumble, persist.
Round one : Move to draw Zoraster, free to place on the ground, standard to Giant Vermin. Activate Beads of Karma and Ankh of Ascension, saccing Death Ward. CL 13 + 4 + 4 = 21. Zoraster is now a Colossal Scorpion.
Round two: Persistent Divine Agility.

You see a tall, thin man in fairly normal clothes. He has golden hair and eyes of the same color. He holds a shield in his left hand, and his right is now empty.

You likely don't pay him much attention, however, due to the colossal scorpion directly in front of him.

I'll start in A11. Zoraster takes up a 6x6 area in front of me. How do colossal creatures handle being partially in water?

I would think it's too tall to care about the water. Although the water's 10ft deep. How tall of colossal creatures?

lvl 1 sharnian: you chose the third option for buff rounds, which means that you can't have all day buffs active without spending your 2 buff rounds.

Sorry for butting in, but I think this would have been problematic, since aethernox has no all days up, but you do.

Sure. I could see it being difficult terrain if you'd like. Yeah, I don't know if you do or not, but there are no all day buffs, as per your choice.

I have several all-day buffs, and I spend one of my buff rounds on one of them.
The options were no buffs, 12-hour+ buffs, No all-days and 1d3 round, or all-days +1d3 rounds. Sorry for any confusion.

In retrospect, I shouldn't have mentioned that he had no all days up, and I probably should have pm'd you to remind you that you can't have all day buffs with your choice. Too late now, though. At any rate, the buff situation should be rectified one way or another.

It's damage, not a penalty. So, if you have less than 12 strength this might be problematic for you.

The scorpion has a touch AC of 1.
But it's immune to mind-affecting, which Ray of Insanity sounds like it might be.

The eye rolled a natural 1 so auto miss and it is mindaffecting so he fails.

Doesn't Con damage cause 1 Hp of damage per hitdie / 2 points of Con damage?

Con damage causes you to lose HP equal to your level every time it lowers your modifier. 4 con damage, assuming you're level 13, is -26 hp.

Alright thanks
