Hi all,
I talked about the preparations for this a few months ago, but now there's finally something online that everybody can see conveniently.
The show is called Songwriter Sacramento, and it's produced at the local cable access studio. I just taped the third episode which should appear some time in August, and the second episode will appear tonight.
The first episode, featuring singer/songwriter Autumn Sky (http://www.myspace.com/autumnskymyspace), is now on my YouTube page (http://www.youtube.com/songwritersacramento), broken into individual songs (use the playlist to get them in original show order), or on my MySpace page (http://www.myspace.com/songwriter_sacramento) (under videos), split into 30-minute halves. There's also a teaser clip on both sites from episode 2 featuring trio All On Seven (http://www.myspace.com/allonseven). (cutest drummer ever, btw :smalltongue:)
It's possible to see the 2nd episode tonight via the online stream, but it's only available while the show is actually playing. That's at 11:30pm Pacific Daylight Time, on the Access Sacramento website (http://www.accesssacramento.org/) under the Ch 17 button (windows media player will pop up). When the 3rd show airs, I'll put the 2nd online at the above sites, etc.
It's been a real blast, and I'm really proud of the results so far. I'm still hoping to improve a lot of the details, but I think the overall format works pretty well for the purpose of introducing a completely new act to the audience.
Please take a look and let me know what you think.
