Not really sure where to put this, so I'll put it here just to be safe.

Having been inspired by a large number of the users on this forum, I decided to take a foray into the world that is Inkscape. Using a tutorial I found online, I attempted to make an OotS style avatar.

What I would like is for constructive feedback, critical or not, to help me make it better, and to improve my technique for making others in the future.

Thank you muchly,

This should go in the Arts and Crafts section, under Webcomics.
Lines are too thin.

All lines should be the same thickness, unless you have a really good reason, and he hands aren't curved enough.

But Mauve has it, this should be in the arts and crafts section.

I agree that the lines are too thin.

Inkscape is good stuff btw. I recommend following tutorials for different styles of drawing to help you learn all the features. For instance I didn't know that Inkscape could automatically line up or grid objects according to a set of rules until I tried to make character sheets with it.

If someone who knows how to move threads to the proper forum, would let me know how to do it, that would be much appreciated. In the meantime, I've got some new experiments to display.

he's based off of this photo from my old work

We had this eggplant that had gotten over-ripe, and this is what happens. They grow arms, which is creepy, but then we decided to give him a face.

Naked Guy

based off of that one avatar of the naked guy. You know who I'm talking about.

They were resized before posting, but still appear to be huge, so I've put them in spoiler tags.

Some times a mod comes and move your thread. I recommend you to wait a mod do this before continue posting here.

Or you can just let this thread die and start over on the Arts & Crafts forum.
