Hi, I'm working on a gunslinger build for a 3.5 campaign on a Victorian/Steampunk setting, and would like to get some advice and rules clarification.

First of all, I'm using The Demented One's awesome Black Rain (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=99529) Homebrew discipline.

The concept is similar to a TWF crossbow build, but doesn't suffer from some of it's problems, which is nice. I'll be using two revolvers, houseruled as
2d4 dam, 20x4 crit weapons.

My main concern has to do with the Manyshot and Greater Manyshot feats. Could I use a martial strike in conjunction with the manyshot feat? I would think I can, since they both would be part of the same standard action. Nevermind the fluff of the Manyshot feat, the DM says it's ok for me to use it.

Anyway, assuming I can do that, would it be umbalanced and/or unreasonable to allow me to apply extra damage from a martial strike to all shots from Greater Manyshot, similar to Sneak Attack damage?

I'll be a Swordsage/Fighter, for Shadow Hand and bonus feats. I'm a bit concerned about the medium BAB and TWF+Rapid shot penalties, but I think I can mitigate those somewhat with my feat choices. I take Fighter levels at 10th level, because I want to get the Righteous Devil stance ASAP so I don't have to worry about reloading anymore and so can full attack effectively.
I'm not sure I'll be taking ITWF/GTWF because I'll probably be using gloves of the balanced hand (they give you TWF/ITWF).

We may take two flaws, get max HP, and start at 8th level. Here's the build so far:

swordsage 9/fighter 2/swordsage +9

str 8
dex 17
con 14
int 12
wis 16
cha 8

feats (*=bonus)

1 weapon focus* (black rain weapons)

1 Vulnerable ->Precise Shot
3 Knowledge Devotion
6 rapid shot
9 Woodland Archer
10 Manyshot*
11 Greater Manyshot*
12 improved rapid shot
15 improved two weapon fighting/crossbow sniper
18 greater two weapon fighting?

scarlet battle mandala (3 man, stand, autohit, if crit, +10d6)

level 1
Hot-Blooded Gunman Bravado

level 5

items I'm thinking of getting:

gloves of the balanced hand
2x +1 , black rain (discipline weapon), splitting revolvers
scholar diamond mind ring: greater insightful strike
custom items:+10 concentration
+10 hide
ring of invisibility
belt of battle
chronocharm of the horizon walker

Anyway, thanks in advance for any advice/suggestion/criticism.

No. Manyshot takes a standard action to use. A strike generally takes a standard action as well. Unless you have a way to have two standard actions in a round, you cannot combine them.

Oh well... I guess there's no point in taking greater manyshot then. Manyshot still allows me to qualify for improved rapid shot, but I'm not sure the +2 to hit is worth it. Maybe I should take a rogue level and try to get some sneak attack in?
