Just a random idea I had.

Autohypnosis (Wis; Trained Only)

Ignore non-lethal damage.
By making an Autohypnosis DC of X you can remove up to y points of nonlethal damage.

Action
Unlike the other Autohypnosis checks, attempting to ignore non-lethal damage is a standard action that provokes an attack of opportunity. (because otherwise people would keep trying till they get lucky)

Try Again
Yes, however the DC for each attempt (successful or not) beyond the first is increased by a cumulative +5. This is reset to the default after 8 hours of rest.

I'm inclined to suggest that the DC = amount of non-lethal damage taken, and the amount removed = 1d4.

The more battered you are, the harder it is to focus on ignoring the pain, and even when you manage it, you only cancel out a small amount (remembering that 1d4 HP, at low level, is a significant amount).

DC=Damage Taken sounds like it could work, but the amount healed should be more HD based. At L20, when you need to hit DC60, healing 1d4 is nothing. Maybe make it 1/HD?

Seconded. .
