PHB2 has a neat spell in it, mark of judgment. At a glance, it looks like nice enough healing. Essentially, you mark one or more creatures. Your allies heal 2 points of damage every time they hit a marked creature with a melee or missile attack for the duration of the spell. The duration is a mere 1 round/level. This doesn't sound so bad yet. However, consider a group of PCs with multiple attacks dogpiling a creature, especially if that creature was rendered incapable of attack.

An unoptimized monk could heal 6hp per round readily enough this way.

So, what is the most damage you think this spell could heal using core + PHB2 builds?

With a ring of telekinesis and assuming his AC is lousy you are going to be healing 17 hp per turn on average (because of critical misses).

Well with Aptitude Splitting Arrows on a Disciple of Dispator...

Several thousand?

That's not really core+PHB2.

With the augment healing feat, you can add +4 to the healing delivered by the spell, tripling the benefit. There's another healing feat, I misremember the name and sourcebook, that does the same thing if you are in a natural setting. These two would increase the healing to 10 points per strike.

There's also a cleric/druid spell you could cast on future rounds, greater snakestrike, i think, that gives all of your allies an immediate extra melee attack. Ditto for haste if there's an arcane caster in the party.

Mark of judgement is also a good candidate for the chain, repeat, and twin spell feats.

As written, the spell already allows for multiple targets within 30'. No need for Chain Spell. :)

That's not at all core or PHB2.

You're thinking of Magic of the Land (http://realmshelps.dandello.net/cgi-bin/feats.pl?Magic_of_the_Land,RW) from Races of the Wild, though it heals the target, which isn't what we're going for, here.

Neither Augment Healing nor Magic of the Land even works. Mark of Judgement is Necromancy. Augment Healing is specific to Conjuration(Healing) spells, and Magic of the Land doesn't work on Necromancy spells. Not to mention that it allows a save.

Doesn't work. Swarms are considered a single creature.

How about a cart of gophers + great cleave? Or perhaps you could use something living as your missiles to double the benefit?

edit: Or just mark the party and slap each other silly for a few rounds.

Or put something(s) small in a bottle and shake it vigorously...

Doesn't any healing remove all subdual damage? Holy cow.

It's not really a 30 feet burst, one target per 3 CL.

No. Where'd you get that ridiculous idea from? When a spell or a magical power cures hit point damage, it also removes an equal amount of nonlethal damage. (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/combat/injuryandDeath.htm#nonlethalDamage)

Black Pudding or Ochre Jelly, then.

Black Pudding or Ochre Jelly, then.

Why would I want to beat on something that's gonna corrode my weapons? Ochre Jelly, maybe, but they're hardly harmless, either, which seems to defeat the purpose of abusing the spell.

You can summon something (basically, anything), make it go 'helpless', cast on it the spell that makes it not die by HP damage (it's SpC, but hey!), and get attacking :)
