In an upcoming game, I'm planning on playing a Changeling Wizard, taking the substitution levels in Races of Ebberon (For those who do not have a copy of this text, it forces you to specialise in two schools, Transmutation and Illusion, at the same time)
If I was to use the Focused Specialist variant from Complete Mage/Arcane (Can't remember which), would I be losing 2 spell slots of each level to gain two Illusion slots and two Transmutation slots? If not, what -would- happen?
Also, the Master Specialist PrC: Gain two benefits when I gain Minor, Moderate and Major School Esoterica?
Finally, Improved Familiar. If I were to take this feat, would it allow my Morphic Familiar to change shape to all possible improved familiars available at my Wizard level? Same for Draconic Familiar too, by the way.
Thank-you in advance to anyone who answers my queries.
