In the wake of new revelations, the histories of Hitler's death may need to be rewritten and left open-ended. American researchers claim to have demonstrated that the skull fragment, secretly preserved for decades by Soviet intelligence, belonged to a woman under 40, whose identity is unknown. DNA analyses performed on the bone, now held by the Russian State Archive in Moscow, have been processed at the genetics lab of the University of Connecticut. The results, broadcast in the US by a History Channel documentary, Hitler's Escape, astonished scientists.

According to Connecticut archaeologist and bone specialist Nick Bellantoni, it was clear from the outset that something was amiss. "The bone seemed very thin; male bone tends to be more robust," he said. "And the sutures where the skull plates come together seemed to correspond to someone under 40." In April 1945 Hitler turned 56.

Let the rampant speculation begin.

*I* think he used some of the artifacts (stolen at the same time as the Ark of the Covenent) to travel to an alternate dimension where he is secretly building an army of clones and giant fighting robots to wreak his revenge on a world that forgot him.

Nah ... too tame, To simple. Too *easy* .

C'mon! This is the board which came up with a complete campaign for George Washington fighting occult evil monsters! I *know* you're better than that!

Respectfully,

Brian P.

Well I would say that by this time the death of Hitler is history and not politics and history is generally a fine topic for the boards. Of course so much history revolves around religion... this isn't one of those times though... well not really, only kind of.

Sheriff of Moddingham: The prohibitions on real world religion and politics are broad subject matter bans. Please give them a wide berth.
