I have a quick question that Google failed to immediately solve. Riding a mount makes you effectively take up 4 squares, and you get to pick which one you're "in" if it ever matters. Does this then mean that a fighter on a horse threatens 12 squares? I just wanted to make sure before I got too excited. :smallwink:

Yes. However, you've got to watch out for your mount, which is a legal target and is likely weaker than you once you get to a high enough level.

Also, most mounts (possibly not all) are uncomfortable inside(and take some penalties), so in the kind of place where threatening 12 squares would really screw the gribblies over, your mount is even less well defended and so on.

But yes, it's a nice thing.

I dare say I rather like this mounted combat stuff.

And yeah, I'm familiar with the rest of the rules; it just didn't say this specifically, so I wanted to make sure I was reading RAW correctly.
