The Room - the ridiculously amazing film by Tommy Wiseau

Right, The Room. I don't even know where to start. Basically it's one of those "So Bad, It's Good" cult films, and it's hilarious.


For the unitiated:
First check out the trailer to get the general story; you should also be able to discern early on the terrible, yet hilarious writing, acting and directing of Tommy Wiseau. Oh, and the bit about it being a black comedy was added after its release because everyone was laughing at it; it is in fact supposed to be a serious drama.

Also note the extreme bizarreness of Tommy Wiseau. Not only his incongruous appearance, but also quite possibly the strangest pacing and delivery I've ever seen.

Ever since I saw Tommy Wiseau on an episode (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4AHFJBV2a0Q) of "Tim and Eric Awesome Show: Great Job!", I just naturally assumed that "The Room" was some sort of elaborate troll project. A cursory internet search has made me reconsider this. If I recall, adult swim showed "the room" 4 times back to back last april fools day.
