Arcueid Brunestud vs. Sailor Moon

Started to read the Tsukihime Let's Play a while ago, and this matchup struck me as amusing. :smalltongue:

To be honest, this is highly dependent on when in the series you're pulling Sailor Moon from. After she gets the Silver Moon Crystal (or whatever it's called) she can simply use it to remove Arcueid's vamprism... probably.

She is in fact far more "natural" than a normal human.

Now, removing Arcueid's bloodlust might be possible... but since she uses most of her energy holding it in that would just make her about five times more powerful.

Still, from what I've heard, in Melty Blood Arcueid uses her Marble Phantasm to steal the Moon from 1000 years in the future just to trigger an escape clause in a curse.

How much damage resistance does Sailor Moon have anyway? Because at the start of Tsukihime Arcueid gets cut into 17 pieces and has the concept of her existence deleted from reality. She gets better.

Sailor Moon herself is tougher than you'd think, but her main power seems to be Deus Ex Machina... She can bring others back from the dead.

As far as personal power she is second only to Saturn, who can blow up the planet... How far below? Not sure, but I don't think she could kill Arcueid even if she stood still and let her attack.

She's the freaking princess of the moon. You know, the ball of rock going around the Earth whitout air whatsoever. She had a kingdom there a lot of time ago.

Except Sailor Moon alone tends to be ineffectual without proper motivation, and without some friend of hers nearby she probably would lose.

Maybe if Arcueid killed Mamoru, and all the other senshi and threatened to take over the world she might be able to pull out enough Deus Ex Machina to win..

Last I recall, at her strongest she's still not THAT strong, her power as stated earlier, relies on being able to purify her enemies... Since Arcueid is 100% True Ancestor, there's nothing to purify.

She's a total Mary Sue which is why I dislike her and the show.

I wasn't hugely impressed by Excel Saga, but (being a devotee of subtitled anime) I found that scene hilarious.

Actually, if we define monsters as unnatural creatures, and given her species was directly created by Earth itself, I'm wondering whether humans would rate higher in the monsterness scale, all told... :smalltongue:

Arcueid doesn't LIKE to kill humans (if I recall correctly), therefore even according to Sailor Moon she's not evil.

As we all know, killing monsters is A-OK though, so that's all fine and good.

And Sailor Moon is only effective against minor villains (and even then only with help) unless everyone else is either dead, or actively giving her power.

Mostly I just hate Sasuke because he's not dead yet... Wait that doesn't make any sense... I still don't like him.
