Ki Foci Superior Implements are oddly missing from the PHB3. This is a way of remedying this problem.

Superior Implement Ki Foci
Special - The abilities of superior Ki Foci may not be used with weapon attacks - only on implement attacks.

More seriously, I just put something in there. They are probably weightless.

Ki Foci don't need this. They are seriously more than good enough.

I believe you are wrong. Ki Foci are currently used by two classes, and of them, one is completely implement based, with a single implement only. With this, Monks get the same bonuses that Other implement users get, at the cost of a feat.
