A pair of defensive feats I thought up. What do you think?

Damage Resistance

Benefit: When you receive hitpoint damage from a single attack, spell, or effect you may as an immediate action make a constitution check to completely negate that damage. The DC of the check is equal to the amount of damage received. You do not automatically succeed on a roll of twenty. Failing this check causes you to receive damage as normal. This only protects you from damage received in the current round, and only protects against hitpoint damage and not any other secondary effects or conditions. You may attempt to absorb damage once per day for every four levels you have attained, and no more than once per round.

Ability Damage Resistance

Benefit: When you receive ability damage from a single attack, spell, or effect you may as an immediate action make a constitution check to completely negate that damage. The DC of the check is equal to 5 times the amount of damage received. You do not automatically succeed on a roll of twenty. Failing this check causes you to receive damage as normal. This only protects you from damage received in the current round, and only protects against ability damage and not any other secondary effects or conditions. You may attempt to absorb ability damage once per day for every four levels you have attained, and no more than once per round.
