Was just posting something in the other subfora, and had an idea.

Weapon Focus [Fighter]
Through training, focus and dedication, your skill in your weaponry grows.
Prerequisites: Base Attack +1, Proficiency in selected weapon.
Benefits: Whenever you successfully hit an opponent with the selected weapon, you raise its 'weapon points' or WP, and you gain benefits based on the WP earned with the weapon, according to the following table:
{table=head]WP|attack|damage|Min. BAB
10|1|0|1
30|1|2|2
60|2|2|3
100|2|4|4
150|3|4|5
210|3|6|6
280|4|6|7
360|4|8|8
450|5|8|9
550|5|10|10
660|6|10|11
780|6|12|12
910|7|12|13
1050|7|14|14
1200|8|14|15
1360|8|16|16
1530|9|16|17
1710|9|18|18
1900|10|18|19
2100|10|20|20[/table]

WP is gained in any combat in which XP can be earned. Additionally, WP can be earned in sparring matchs, but may only raise WP as if your Base Attack Bonus was 4 lower. The WP gained per day from sparring can not exceed your current BAB. For instance, a 10th level fighter may spar with a companion to raise his WP in a new weapon from sparring gains 10 WP per day of training, to a maximum of 210 WP. From there, he must use the weapon in actual combat in order to become more proficient in its use.

To gain the benefits of this feat on an additional weapon you are proficient with, you must spend one day per character level sparring with it. Track WP separately for each weapon you benefit from this feat with. A character may only be 'focused' in 5 weapons at a time. To focus in an additional weapon, you must lose focus in one of the weapons you've currently selected, including the loss of all WP.

Did I go overboard on the bonuses? I think that's the biggest concern

Five weapons? Who uses five different weapons consistently? I'd limit it to two weapons at a time. Maybe even just one.

The bonuses do look quite high, but I haven't looked over the whole feat too thoroughly.

A warrior might carry a long bow for sniping, carry a few throwing knives for emergencies, and wield a katana/wakazashi as his main weapon style. That's 4 right there.

Indeed. Are they focused though? Carrying weapons for emergencies isn't exactly "focus."

I'd limit it to two, three tops.
