Any thoughts on whether these effects should stack? I'm aware of the FAQ ruling that karmic strike + robilar's gambit AoOs shouldn't stack, for instance. But these seem pretty different.

So, you have some sort of unarmed character that the opponents are lol'ing at because monks are funny. One charges you, misses, provokes an attack of opportunity because he missed a charge. But since the charger is set as your target for dodge and the charger missed, defensive throw gets a trip attempt that also happens to eat an AoO.

Opponent is smacked, tripped, and Improve Trip-smacked again?

Anyone find a ruling stating these shouldn't stack? Throw in Hold The Line?

Nope. Smack away! Throw in Martial Study (any DS) and Martial Stance (Thicket of Blades [at 10 HD or more]) to double the fun. Or just dip crusader for a level at that point, if your DM's lax on monk multiclassing, to get those and (if you come back) perhaps Defensive Sweep.
