OOTS does indeed have a finite lifespan, however, and I already know what the last panel of the last comic will be, so don't expect it to linger around forever.

My guess is the last panel will be:
Panel 7 from #113 (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0113.html), updated with Roy's son and the Xykon doll.

I seriously doubt that, because if Roy passes the Blood Oath on to *anyone* it means he failed to kill Xykon himself, which would really suck as an ending.

Xykon slashed to pieces by the snarl, Roy injured in crossfire. Undead Belkar destroyed by Hailey after Killing Elan for xp. Varsuvious and Durkon seal the portal with a new gate, redeeming Varsuvious.
With Xykon's soul destroyed and unable to return to his phylactery Roy takes it as a trophy.
