Very basic question - how do I roll dice?

EDIT: basically, the code is xdy+z where x=number of dice, y=number of sides, z=modifiers.

However, it only works on certain subforums, I think.

Also note that the dice roller cannot be used in every forum. Only in certain parts of the PbP forums (though I'm not certain specifically which parts).

I'm pretty sure it can be used in all parts of PbP Games... super-forum? Whatever you call it.

Also, something I learned two minutes ago.
It's a bad idea to use round brackets in the code (for instance, for knowledge and perform checks)

xdy not only doesn't work, it gives you the *post roll count doesn't match database red message.
