I was looking the spell backbiter and thought it was a pretty interesting spell to be used at 1st level. Then it got me thinking if there is a spell that can teleport a item or items onto someone else? Or is there anyone who could make that spell? I think it would be cool to teleport adamantine battle plate onto an arcane caster in the mist of battle. I don't imagine it would a very high level spell since it would require either reflex or will to negate.

Hmm. A spell that, with a failed save, makes any druid immediately lose all their abilities for 24 hours, hoses characters with spell failure, and with a few (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/magicItems/cursedItems.htm#helmofOppositeAlignment) cheap (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/magicItems/cursedItems.htm#bootsofDancing) items (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/magicItems/cursedItems.htm#robeofPowerlessness), become one-shot save-or-lose spells against a BBEG. Not to mention all of the possible shenanigans with planted evidence, poison, etc. Tricky.

I wouldn't hose a Druid's abilities if something was forced on them. That only happens if they willfully wear metal armor I'm sure and even so that's far less than save or die or no save spells which are all over the place.

It would also have beneficial benefits. Getting a sword over to a fighter who got disarmed etc.

Just make it personal range. Avoids the many issues you raised.

EDIT : Oh, I think I misunderstood. Then yeah, it'd be rather high level. I guess 4th, maybe 5th.

Or make it willing only, I guess. Then it'd be 1st level at best.
