the red head flared up, and Din's tongue grows longer while she tries to shove it down the guides' throat

She tries to pull back, with all the guides swiftly retreating and trying to pull her off.

massive thorns burst out of her tongue as it is pulled out

The lacerated guide is hauled to the infirmary; the other guides pull out skull-topped canes and spew Din with tendrils of restraining smoke.

Din hisses, and retreats into a corner, the tips of her hair silver again

They try to get her with the smoke, which will weigh her down like chains on contact.

she is retrained in the corner, her hair grey, and sobbing

They gently try to put a face-mask on her, just to cover her mouth.
And then cuddles.

Din sobs, laying down on the floor, looking like the nervous wreck she is

They shower her head with kisses, holding her tight and blah de blah.
