How does one delineate, for magic item pricing, 'multiple similar abilities' vs 'multiple different abilities'? Rules of the Game (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/rg/20050118a) had partial guidelines.

Specifically, I'm wondering about a luck bonus to AC (2500 x bonus squared) and saves (2000 x bonus squared). Or insight or sacred.

Note that as you're specifically choosing obscure bonuses for maximum stackage, most DMs will not give you the "list price" for bonuses.

So are you saying the lesser one would be 1.5x'ed? Or that it shouldn't be allowed at all (or only at some even more expensive price)?

'multiple similar abilities' are multiple abilities that draw from the same set of uses (such as from a staff) and/or cannot be used in conjunction.

'multiple different abilities' are abilities that can be used at the same time (such as +3 Deflection to AC, +3 enhancement to Natural Armor, and +3 sacred bonus to AC).

Actually it's just how your link put it. Your item gives two abilities that work at the same time so it falls under multiple different abilities.
