I really like the basic idea of the hexblade and his curses, its such a shame that. . well, even the fighter class is better in most cases.

So i was wondering, have any of you wonderful people here in the land of the homebrew come up with any decent versions of it? : )

I believe there is a quasi-official fix for them somewhere, it makes is so that you don't lose the curse if they save, and maybe a few other things.
And while I'm not on my comp at the moment to check for specific changes, the big change that I use is instead of casting spells, they use invocations, similar to a warlock. They get fewer invocations, and don't get the higher level ones.

It's not really finished and the site now looks fugly thanks to Wikia's antics, but another version that's at least playable can be found here (http://dungeons.wikia.com/wiki/Hexblade,_Variant_(3.5e_Class)). I haven't playtested it myself, but given that you're free to pick and choose it couldn't hurt to offer another take on it.
