WOTC announces (http://www.wizards.com/dnd/Article.aspx?x=dnd/4news/october2010) that the D&D Class Compendium is coming out in february. It contains the Cleric, Fighter, Rogue, Warlord, and Wizard, their original class builds from PHB1 (with all their errata, and updated to the 4.4 class format), and feats, multiclass rules, and rituals. It is intended for players who are "ready to move beyond" the HOFL book, and has the same size and formatting as the 4.4 books.

Of course, there will likely be a sequel to this book that covers the paladin, ranger, warlock, and druid from HOFK.

Now they are really starting to milking it...

...and updated to the 4.4 class format...and has the same size and formatting as the 4.4 books...Why? The class format is terrible (far, far, far too much duplication) and the digest-sized books... they are really not to my taste.

This is my sad face :(
