I need an online tone generator. Specifically, a trombone tone generator. If that's not around, an electric guitar/general tone generator will work, too.

Basically, I want to click on a note and play it on my computer while I'm composing, instead of having to play on my instrument for the note every time to make sure it sounds right.

Help?

I googled it for you.

It's not a trombone, but it is a tone.

Wonderful. That's way better than the ones I found. Thanks very much.

If anyone finds a trombone tone generator, that would be wonderful.

Not too familiar with the technical side of music, but perhaps this (http://www.entertonement.com/clips/pxmvqcvsdn--Musical-Trombone-Scales-Up-DownMusical-Instruments-Up-Trombone-) could be what you're looking for?

Ooh. I found a writer for music, too, so I don't have to use my pencil. You just click on the note type, place it, and pick an instrument.

Thanks!

Not sure which one you've found, but before I got Sibelius, I used Finale Notepad. It's the free version of an expensive software, but isn't bad at all for basic stuff.

Finale Notepad is no longer free. D:

Oh dear.

In that case, I've no idea.

I'm using something called "MuseScore" right now.

I use Noteworthy Composer myself.
