I'm planning on using this blademaster class (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=120539) for a campaign, but I wanted to focus on black rain. Any suggestions for what the discipline gift/secrets should be? Preferably something that would let me get some use of having a pair of guns, as black rain is primarily for a single gun. Thanks in advance!

Hmm, that'd be a difficult one, but I'll see what I can do. For starters, Blademaster already has Spot as a class skill, and the idea was that the skill would be absent in order to grant it as a class feature. As for another, Black Rain mostly focuses on single shots and line of fire, rather than Gun-Fu/Guns Akimbo.

At most, what I can say is that Black Rain's Disciple of the Blade ability would grant proficiency with firearms (and if allowed in-campaign, the concussion blaster, death ray, firewand and wandgun, but you have to check with the DM on that; otherwise, you only gain proficiency with the pistol and musket), and a +1 bonus on Spot checks, plus 1 for every 5 ranks on Spot after the first four (so, you'd get a +2 bonus on Spot checks if you had 9 ranks, +3 with 14 ranks, and so on). If you took Black Rain as a secondary discipline, you'd only get a +2 bonus on Spot checks and nothing else.

As for Discipline Secret and Discipline Gift, I'd need some pointers on those ones. Not very familiar with Black Rain (or any of the other homebrewed disciplines, except a slight familiarity with Falling Star).

My dm's already approved these guns (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=114242)

I know the focus of Black Rain is single shot, it's just that guns akimbo is so cool, and it would be nice to have some reason to have 2 guns instead of one, beyond any attacks not from maneuvers.

Black rain, for reference (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?p=5471518)
