Happy Birthday!!

Trog recommends either a Gin and Tonic or a White Russian. Or for beers try a Leinenkugel's Honey Weiss.

Mojito, my drink of choice. Drink with class.

Gin and Tonic

That's a good one.

I've grown partial to cider, myself. I like Strongbow, but have heard good things about Magners, too.

My standard advice for new unvicenarians: don't overdo things and be careful.

Poor Americans, have to wait till they're 21 to drink. It's 19 up here.

Of course I'm 18... Not to mention I have no real interest in drinking...

One of the perks of living in a state that borders Canada. Road trips!

Personally, I'm more of a beer drinker than a liquor drinker.

And Woodchuck Cider is deliciousness!

Happy B-Day Thubby.

I can see I'm already a little late to the draw, but I'll still just drop this site (http://www.thedrunkenmoogle.com/) for future endeavors.

I concur, I had some raspberry cider of theirs for the first time yesterday that was rather nice. Their pear cider was also pretty nifty.

So it looks like we've got a triple birthy day today. Happy birthday!

If you want to try wine but don't want to go all out, Barefoot is a good value line of wines.

But, really, White Russians are verra nice as Trog mentioned.

Mint juleps are also rather nice, but a bit intensive to make.

if it's cold out though, there's a number of traditional european hot, alcoholic beverages to draw upon. Wassail for one, mulled wine/cider for another. Hot buttered rum's interesting the first time you try it though I've only had it made by someone with a fair bit of experience so I don't know if there's a knack to it or not really.

You use iced tea, not sweet tea. 'Least that's how I learned it, and how everyone I know makes it.

There's no such thing as non-sweet tea in the south, at least how I learned it.

Nah, it's sweet.

I recommend anything with rum or tequila. =)

Can't go wrong with them! ^_^

Oh, and happy birthday! ^_^

I'm pretty sure anyone can use either. I happen to make it with sweet tea.

now, now as an adult you should drink responsibly. or drink irresponsibly and just be more sophisticated about it, try expensive cognac shots instead of cheap tequila, or chug red wine from a garden hose instead of beer.

That's a cubalibre. I like it too, but I prefer beer. I don't drink much however.
Oh, and the drinking age in my country is 18. Yay us!

White Russians are the drinks of the GODS.

Mostly because I make a mean White Russian, so I have to suggest that to everyone.
