Yeah, it's definately an awesome game. I'm almost done it. I've been putting it off some. Glad to see you like it.

(on a side note, you might wanna edit your title so it says Lawyers ;)

Dear God, I thought I had lost all ability to read and comprehend languages when I opened this up. ???

So, I have to ask, What exactly is Lawers: Phonix Wright Ace Atronity.

Well lets see...

Lawers. As in the laws of grammar he's breaking.

Phonix. What he needs.

Wright. As in amirwrite?

Ace. You know, he's playing cards. (Eh, this was spelled right and there was nothing clever I could think of)

Atronity. Obviously a mispelled atrocity. Describing his typos.

Okay, with that out of my way, I'll say I haven't played Phoenix Wright, but I've heard good things about it.

"You're a liar and I can prove it!"

You'll find that out soon enough. The end of chapter 4 is really exciting. I never would have though that the person who is behind everything would be who he is :)

To anyone on the fence about this game. I suggest you pick it up, cause talking to the guy at my local EB (don't worry, he's not a moron) the game was discountinued, meaning the amount of copies that are out right now, is the only amount that you'll see for along while.

Also, if anyone can find Trauma Center:Under the Knife, I suggest picking that one up too

Ah...I'll pass on that one, having done a stint as a Trauma Chaplain, I find that I want my games to be something that diverts me.

But I am curious about this game, guess I'll have to look it up and see what its about.

What exactly is this game? Genre? I know it has something to do with Phoenix Wright, Ace Attorney, and Lawyer-ing?

Renmazuo

Sith: I don't really know what Genre the game would fall under. You basicly have to hear statements in court, and find out where the weakness is thier testimony is. Either by using evidence, or just trying to contradict what they said. You later on get to go out and start collecting evidence yourself as well by using the touchscreen to investigate certain area's

Don't know if that was usefull or not.

Sounds like an interesting game. I’m actually a lawyer, might give it a try to see if law can really be enjoyed as much as other games. Is it a PC game? What’s its complete name again? (I got confused with the name due to all the spelling mistakes)

It's nothing like real law at all :P

But for people who like watching shows like Law&order, it's kinda like that, but alot more simplistic.

I need to beat that game. I'm on my last case.

Thanks to all those on this thread. I picked up both Phoenix Wright and Trauma Center and could not have been more pleased.

Current score
DS - 5, PSP - 2.

Just my 2 yen,

Game on!

Congrats, you made 2 great purchases!

And they were only $30 each, unlike PSP games...

I'm sorta still holding my breath on that system (Yes, I own it, but I don't own much for it. Need to get a bigger memory stick, though, to turn it into a mobile anime platform...). *Movies are nice, but beyond Lumines (haven't played GTA yet) there's not much...

Game on... outside!

Gah! ****! I need to pick this up now! *runs to store*
What's wrong with the final mission of ch. 1 in ER: The Game though? I didn't think it was disturbing.

I dunno, maybe the part where you pull a half-dozen glass shards out of his heart, then a bigger shard pops out, then his heart RIPS ITSELF IN HALF, and everything does that greyscale thing

Sounds like these games are harking back to the golden age of point-and-click adventures - is that a fair appraisal?

Akiosama
01-11-2006, 11:36 PM
Only for Phoenix Wright.

NOTHING point and click only for Trauma Center. It's been a while since a game made me that... stressed out. ;D

In any case, both are pretty fun, though you gotta enjoy the style for Phoenix Wright because it's not all that dynamic...

Anyhow... my 2 bits... 6 more to a byte.

Game on!

So what the heck is Trauma Center all about then? At the moment I've just got an image of a digitalised version of that heart attack-inducing classic Operation!

Renmazuo
01-12-2006, 12:08 AM
Trauma Center is pretty much that. Operation. You have a time limit for each operation you preform ( 5 min for each)

Each operation has something to it. It's very fun (and frustrating) to be put under some extreme pressure during the operations.

***SPOILER*** (sorry I don't know how to invisi-text)

It gets even awesomer when your able to pull off the concentration ability by drawing the star (you can do it very horribly and still do it) on the screen to slow time down
