Does this guy look angry?

So I'm involved in this project where I have to do illustrations. Anyway, below is a finished sketch and I'm wondering, looking at this guy, does he look angry? The sketch based off this I was told looked too angry and I'm hoping this one doesn't look quite so mad. You can explain in detail what you think, but I'd also appreciate a rating of 1 to 10 (1 complete calmness, 10 Hulk rage) indicating how mad he looks. You can also critique the piece as a whole and give me feedback but I'm mostly looking for thoughts about the anger (and before you say anything, the character is a disembodied floating head and the background is all white because I did this in photoshop, the head is a separate layer, and this is going to be used in an animation).

Maybe do something to his mouth so that it's not totally normal shaped. He could bare his teeth. scrunch up, etc. Maybe open his eyes some more too.

It doesn't look like a "flying off the handle" kind of angry...more of a "constantly on edge and looking for a reason to blow up" kind of angry...like he has that expression everywhere he goes.

That guy looks... constipated... or something. Not really angry as such.

Right side of the face looks pretty annoyed.
Left side looks more sad than angry.

The lines on the forehead would need to point downwards towards the middle of the forehead rather than curve up like they do if you'd like to have her really angry.

Pretty creepy thing, though. Nicely modelled.

Yeah - less angry, more 'petulant and irritable'. Maybe a 3 or 4 on the mad-scale at worst.

I'm gonna agree with the posters above me. He looks irritated, not angry. My guess as to why is that his eyes have no lid showing. When you're REALLY furious, your narrow your eyes. Also, the mouth could contort more. Below is my favorite facial emotions guide; hope it helps!

Ooh! The picture looks like the first frame in an animation where this guy gets progressively madder and ends up opening his mouth so wide that his skull shoots out from under his elastic lips, along with fire, sewage, blood and organs, shambling creatures, various trinkets and civilizations, and all sorts of crazy crap.

Then he closes his mouth and acts like nothing happened.
