The Docks VII

[Kyrian]

Kyrain runs out to the docks. Hawkeye! Wu needs...

He suddenly stops when he senses a familiar aura at Trog's.

You've GOT to be kidding...

[Lord Iames Osari]

Iames removes the sticky note and reads it, wincing as the cane pokes him in the eye.

[AmberVael]

The sticky note has a fist drawn on it. It grabs for Iames's nose.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Iames burns the paper, and the fist, then teleports onto one of the dwarven galleons.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian leaves.

[AmberVael]

The Dancing Man throws his cane down at the water and leaps in after it. The cane floats, and the Dancing Man balances on top of it, and then waits for something to happen.

[Xerillum]

The dwarves on the Blueblood attack Iames with their axes and spells, as the catapult trashes the Reaver's mast. the ballistae are shooting bolts at the other boats, while the cannons continue to shell the land with grapeshot.

[AmberVael]

The Dancing Man taps his foot and his cane gains a propeller. He zips towards the Reaver and leaps at one of the cannons and sits in it.

[Xerillum]

the cannon shoots spiky pineapples, oranges and bananas.

[AmberVael]

The assorted fruit is instantly caught and turned into juggling equipment. The Dancing Man squeezes himself out of the back of the cannon (even though there isn't a way out of the back) and then begins tossing flaming, exploding fruit at everything inside the Reaver.

[Lord Iames Osari]

((What kind of axes and spells?))

[Xerillum]

Magebane axes and enervation spells.

[Lord Iames Osari]

((Ok.))
Iames dodges the axes and laughs as the spells do nothing to him. His eyes glow yellow, and a wave of intense flame bursts from him in all directions.

[Xerillum]

"ahh!" They begin to shoot ballistae at him.

[AmberVael]

The Dancing Man continues throwing his explosive fruit within the Reaver. It is uncertain how it became explosive, but it somehow did. The way he is shaking them suggests lethal amounts of carbonation, however.

[Xerillum]

The sailors take a ten foot onka bar and push The Dancing Man out of the cannon hole. they then drink the fizzy fruit juice.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Iames sees the ballista bolts coming and turns ethereal, but not before one of them manages to rip his arm off. Gritting his teeth, Iames casts regeneration on himself, growing a new arm as a result. He then sinks down through the deck of the ship.

[AmberVael]

The bar does indeed push the Dancing Man out of the cannon hole, but only somewhat. He grabs onto the sides of the hole and his body stretches out like a rubber band before shooting the bar back at them with a twang.

[Xerillum]

The sailors cast an antimagic field on the top and gun decks of the ship, as well as ironwood on the hull, and a spell against travel, trapping Iames.

TDM is impaled on a wonka bar, and begins spewing peanuts.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Iames pops irritatedly back into existence and begins fighting his way down further.

[AmberVael]

The Dancing Man beats Xerrilum the player over the head for trying to control him, and then begins throttling him with a coathanger and a tulip. It doesn't sound like it would work, but it does.

[Xerillum]

*choke choke choke* Xerillum beats Vael the player over the head with his keyboard, then delivers a coup de grace with a bumblebee.

[AmberVael]

Vael quickly dodges by pulling his chat up in time, while the Dancing Man begins smacking anything within reach with his cane.

[Xerillum]

Xerillum's player smashes a car battery on Vaels' player's tongue. A sailor casts Protection from Canes.

[Lord Iames Osari]

Iames, being a deity even if he is in an antimagic field, reaches a lower deck. Judging himself to be below the waterline, he dismisses the field. He manifests schism, then finds an out-of-the-way corner and begins casting create water 3 times a round, producing 20 gallons with every casting.

[AmberVael]

((Hey, when you fight the Dancing Man you better be prepared for that kinda thing. :smallwink:))
The Dancing Man pulls the small winking emoticon out of the OOC chat and hurls it at the sailor. Vael throws a few Snickers at X in hopes of pacifying him.

[Xerillum]

He isn't below the waterline. A heavy sluice gate blocks the water from going lower. The sailor does a matriox over a field of cauliflower.

[AmberVael]

The Dancing Man puzzles over this for a moment, and then decides he needs a lunch break. He hangs a sign up in the air where he was and walks out the door, which is odd, since there isn't a door... huh.

Iames notes the sluice gate and fires a sizeable chunk of crystal at it.

it bounces off.

Iames raises an eyebrow at this, then chuckles to himself and manifests psionic disintegrate at the sluice gate.

[Xerillum]

((Ohhhhhhhhhh. And here Vael was yelling at me on AIM))

Iames goes ethereal and floats out of the ship, then down to below the surface of the water, then back inside the ship.

[Wukei]

Wukei steps out onto the docks, her skin and eyes two-toned. She stares out over the sea with a mixture of disgust and longing.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye steps slowly onto the docks. He watches Wukei

[Wukei]

Wukei glances back at Hawkeye and both of her eyes shift to a green colour. She smiles at him, Hey.

[Hawkeye]

"Hey you" Hawkeye walks towards Wukei

[Wukei]

Wukei hugs him tightly and kisses him. I'm so sorry this has happened...

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye hugs her just as tightly back "We never seem to have it easy....but we've been through it even so"

[Wukei]

Wukei nods. We'll get through this just fine...I'm sure of it.

[Hawkeye]

"Are you that sure?" he closes his eyes "I don't want to let go of you."

[Wukei]

Wukei kisses him, Know that Merant will try to combine with you. If he succeeds, then you have to be the one in control. She looks up at him, the eye on her dark side had gone purple.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye nods "Ok....how long will this take?"

[Wukei]

She shrugs, Honestly, I have no idea. Merant thinks I'm on his side, so we have an advantage. But Kyrian--and by the end of the night the rest of the town--doesn't trust me. That could be a large disadvantage...

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye sighs "It can be very difficult to change someones trust. When will you have to go?"

[Wukei]

Wukei shakes her head, Soon. I can't chance that Merant will see us together.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye hugs Wu and kisses her "I just want to get the most out of these moments now...."

[Wukei]

Wukei smiles and kisses him, At least we had a nice lunch...

[Hawkeye]

"There is that, but I would have definitely skipped lunch for all this not to be happening"

[Wukei]

Wukei nods and sighs. I have to go...I'll try to come back...but I can't promise anything.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye sighs "Just don't....lose yourself completely. I need you more than anything."

[Wukei]

Wukei nods. I promise nothing will happen to me. I'll still be me when we're done.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye smiles "Ok, will I still be able to speak to you through the link?"

[Wukei]

Wukei nods, But it may be Hel you're speaking to.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye bites his lip "In that case I'll leave it unless I'm really called upon to do it. But I'll always be here if you want to call me."

[Wukei]

Wukei nods, I'll keep it in mind. She gives him one last hug and kiss and heads toward the town again, glancing back briefly with a smile. She winks and then continues into town.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye sighs and walks towards some abandoned buildings, hopefully finding a bed in one, and wiping away tears with his sleeve.

[Renrik]

The goblin ships on shore have finally finished prepping hemselves out, and sail out at the ships in the harbor. They goblin artillery peices on shore have beome fully operable, and reinforcements arrive from the slums and the countryside.

Wounded and dead goblins are evacuated to the slums for treatment or burial.

[Xerillum]

The reaver fills the air with thick black smoke when it blasts cannonballs at the goblin fleet, as do the other ships. ballistae shoot flaming arrows at the sails, and cannons on the decks fire heavy chains at the masts.

[Takehiko the Marooned]

Hiko and Aesa enter the docks. Hiko looks around, still smiling at Aesa. So... Is there anything you want to do?

[AmberVael]

Aesa smiles happily. I really do not know what I am doing anyways, so whatever you would like to do is fine by me.

[Takehiko the Marooned]

Hiko raises an eyebrow. What do you mean?

[AmberVael]

All I know is that I love you. I do not know what most people do with someone they love, I never had to think about it. Aesa wraps her arms around him and puts her head on his shoulder.

[Takehiko the Marooned]

Hiko smiles, and kisses her. What happens when two people love eachother happens spontaneously... That's the only way you can really explain it.

[AmberVael]

Aesa kisses him back, holding tightly to him.

[Takehiko the Marooned]

Hiko grins. Like that.

[AmberVael]

Aesa smiles at him, and then frowns, sensing something.

[Takehiko the Marooned]

Hiko frowns. What's up?

[AmberVael]

I think- Four shimmering columns of light shoot down from the sky, and four valkyries step out of them, dressed for battle. Their spears glint in the fading pillars of light.

[Takehiko the Marooned]

Hiko rests a hand on one of his blades. Who are you?

[AmberVael]

The valkyries hold their spears at ready. One of them speaks. We are the handmaidens of Odin. Aesa, you know why we are here. Aesa closes her eyes and whispers in Hiko's ear. I love you, Hiko.

[Takehiko the Marooned]

Hiko draws his blades, katanas made of red crystal. No.

[AmberVael]

The valkyries advance slowly. Will you come with us, Aesa, or will we have to drag you back now that you have broken your oath? Aesa looks from Hiko to the valkyries then steps foward. I will come.

[Takehiko the Marooned]

Hiko's brow furrows. What are you going to do to her!?

[AmberVael]

That is for Odin and the norns to decide. Two of the valkyries walks up to Aesa and grab her by the arms. Aesa looks back at Hiko with sad eyes and then shuts them against her pain.

[Takehiko the Marooned]

Hiko scowls, sheathing the swords. Her fate is mine. Take me with her.

[AmberVael]

We were not ordered to bring you back. Unlike some, we follow orders. The valkyrie who is not holding Aesa captive or speaking begins to create sigils in the air similar to Aesa's. They do not shine as brightly and they are not as complex as hers, however.

[Takehiko the Marooned]

Hiko draws the blades with lightning speed, aiming to hit the spellcasters hands with the flat of the blade.

[AmberVael]

The valkyrie whips up her spear and blocks his attack, the unfinished sigils still glowing in the air. The other unnoccupied valkyrie leaps towards Hiko, aiming the butt of her spear at the base of his neck. The two holding Aesa hold their spears ready. Aesa struggles against them and one of them jabs a spearpoint to her throat. Both of you, stop.

[Takehiko the Marooned]

Hiko litterally moves faster then lightning, aiming to slice the spear at Aesa's throat in twain with one sword, and blocking the neck blow with the other...

[AmberVael]

Hiko's sword cuts through the spear as the other valkyrie stabs at Hiko with her own. Right before the spear reaches him, the point melts away and the shaft burns so fast it collapses into ashes. Aesa snaps her arms away from the two valkyries with brutal force, then sends a crackling stream of negative energy at the one who attacked Hiko. The other two hurl their spears at Hiko with swift and deadly speed.

[Takehiko the Marooned]

Hiko sneers and smacks the spears aside, inches from his face and heart. Hiko hold a blade to the throat of the apperent leader. Now... I was saying... I'd like to speak to your boss.

[AmberVael]

The valkyrie grabs the sword without even cutting her hand. Stay out of this, mortal. Aesa turns from the valkyrie crumpled on the ground, leaving her almost entirely drained of life, only to find that the other two valkyries have flanked her.

[Takehiko the Marooned]

Hiko growls, and white fire erupts from the blades. I'm already involved. Hiko wrenches the sword from her grip, fire sill blazing, and throws his other blade into the ground, pulling out his sketchbook. He yells to the two valkyries flanking Aesa. You guys want to play!?

[AmberVael]

The speaking valkyrie forms another spear in her hand and lunges for Hiko, giving a flurry of strikes while the two flanking Aesa lunge in at her. The one coming from the front is cut off as a pain wracks through her, but the other clamps an arm around Aesa, pinning her arms to her sides and then quickly sketches runes in the air.

[Takehiko the Marooned]

Hiko roars, striken in the thigh and chest. Then let's play! He rips out a page of the sketchbook, and throws it into the ground by the flanking valkyries. Tentacles made of earth, stone, and wood burst from the ground, swatting at the opposing valkyries. Hiko grins, throwing another picture into the ground nect to him. Copies of himself pop up around the Valkirye attacking him. All the Hiko's toss their sketchbooks aside and go to slash at the commanding valkyrie...

[AmberVael]

The commanding valkyrie takes a step back and parries attacks made at her with blinding speed, but gains a few cuts along her arms and one on her cheek. The valkyrie holding Aesa continues drawing runes as fast as she can, while the one Aesa stopped with a wave of agony defends herself and her sister in arms against the tentacles. The fourth valkyrie unsteadily gets to her feet, shaking off the negative energy.

[Takehiko the Marooned]

The tentacles aim to smash the rune-drawer into the ground, while the real Hiko leaps above the rest of the cloud and whips his sword at the valkyrie who was hit by the wrack of pain spell. The rest of the Hiko-clones continue their attack on the commanding valkyrie...

[AmberVael]

With a snap Aesa and the valkyrie holding her vanish, while the one Hiko attacked meets his sword with the haft of a shining spear. The commanding valkyrie continues her defense, losing ground, but now putting out attacks of her own. The valkyrie who was drained staggers and leans on a summoned spear.

[Takehiko the Marooned]

Hiko growls, snapping his fingers, and the tentacles and Hiko clones dissipear. He drops to his knees

[AmberVael]

The valkyries close together and after a few seconds of joint rune crafting they vanish as well.

[Takehiko the Marooned]

Hiko slams his fist into the ground, cursing any gods that can hear him. Come back you bastards! Come back and face me!

[Renrik]

The goblin ships are crippled, but still able to move forward. They continue to sail out to the dwarven ships, returning fire from their own armaments. The crew runs about, putting out fires and disentagling the chains.

The barrage from shore continues, shooting out large rocks and chunks of rubble at the dwarven vessels.

Snipers on shore attempt to pick off dwarven sailors on the ships.

[Xerillum]

A few sailors fall, and one ship's, the Emperor Dragon's, mast is shattered. A barrage of grapeshot pours onto the docks.

[Takehiko the Marooned]

Hiko lay in an allyway, inebriated, his jub oh alcohal empty besides him

[Lykan]

Lykan heads to the docks and leaps onto his airship.

[Takehiko the Marooned]

Hiko enters the dock and searches around, eventually coming upon his pad of paper. Wow... No water damage. He puts it back in his pack and heads back into town.

[Renrik]

The goblins on shore launch another barrage, and the snipers continue.

The goblin ships are slowly advancing, and the crew ready to engage in boarding actons.

[Xerillum]

The dwarves draw their masterwork warhammers and they throw flaming torches on the goblin decks.

[CabbageTheif]

the kender skips onto the docks. it taps each nail with the rod, dancing and humming a fun little ditty. the nails are absorbed, and the docks begin to shake. ont much is needed to make it all collapse.

[Renrik]

A goblin on shore aims a crossbow at the kender and tells him to get away from the docks, as volunteers from the goblin ranks go up to fix them.

The goblins on the ships take some casualties, but the ships are now even with the dwarven ships. The goblins, almost all sailors, the vast majority of whom have a deal of combat experience, begin leaping across the gap on ropes, knives clutched in their teeth and other weapopns on their belts. Others dive into the water and dissapear for a short time, only to come up on the other side of the boat and climb up it's less defended side and onto the deck or into port holes.

On deck, the goblins close in on the dwarves. Once battle is joined, their tactic will be for one to trip the dwarf and the other to cut him.

Below decks, they do everything they can to wreak havoc.

[McBish]

What appears to be a merchant ship floats out away from the dock and the naval battle. There doesn’t look to be any activity on the ship, the sails are down and no one can be seen on deck. It slowly starts to driff into shore heading for the beach.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye appears in a cloud of purple smoke in the docks. He begins looking round for what caused the explosion that he heard in the tavern

[Loki_the_god]

The Midgard lies in flames, no hope of recovery for the ship. Hawkeye feels a pair of hands on his shoulders and a voice from behind says, My dear son-in-law...

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye sighs "Loki....I suppose this was your doing?"

[Loki_the_god]

He waves his arm out before Hawkeye, taking in the scene of the Midgard. Beautiful, no? A tribute. It almost says something about both of my wayward children. A ship owned by my daughter named after my eldest son? It was too good to pass up.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye growls "Why can't you just let us be...dad?"

[Loki_the_god]

Loki spins him around angrily, Because you had the AUDACITY to kill me!

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye growls "I can't remember killing you personally, I may have assisted in it. And what you got you deserved! You weak pathetic Godling!"

[Loki_the_god]

Loki growls and punches at him. How dare you! You're a simple mortal! How dare you call me weak?!

[Hawkeye]

The punch catches Hawkeye and he staggers back a few paces. He eyes change to a deep purple, and his hands start glowing blue "I have a perfect right to call you whatever I want. Is this a new game for the gods, picking on mortals, doesn't seem very godly to me."

[Loki_the_god]

Loki smiles wickedly, An eye for an eye...

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye backs up further "What, you're actually gonna stop talking and try to kill me now?" his hands glow a brighter blue

[Loki_the_god]

Loki grins evilly. Kill you? Not yet. But soon, my dear son-in-law. After I've killed the others. He brings two fingers to his brow in salute and disappears in a swirl of fire.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye relaxes a bit, his hands stop glowing and his eyes return to there normal blue "Wu...I've got to warn her" he disappears in a cloud of purple smoke

[Renrik]

The goblins ignore the merchant vessal and continue to attack the dwarves.

[Mhina]

Mhina walks out onto the docks where the Midgard has sunk as far as it can, burned to uselessness. Standing at the docks are two people. At first, the one with black hair almost looks like Wukei. Upon closer inspection one could see he was male. The other was a man that looked much like Alex, though he didn't wear a shirt. He smiled wickedly as his grandchild approached.

[Lykan]

Lykan comes into the dock after Mhina

Hey Mhina! Wait up!

He has yet to notice the two figures...

[Mhina]

Mhina looks back almost sleepily and then looks to the two figures. Having never seen either she takes on a look of confusion. Who...

[Lykan]

Lykan stops besides Mhina

Mhina, you okay?

He looks oer at the two figures

Oh... Umm... Hello you two...

[Loki_the_god]

Loki smiles at Lykan and his arm flashes out. He grabs Mhina by the hand and spins her toward him, grabbing her around the waist. She doesn't look a thing like the rest of the family...

It's the mortal blood, chuckles Fenrir.

You may be right...which means she's weak, Loki states, bringing his hand up toward her chin. And the weak need to be culled.

[Lykan]

Lykan holds up his arms

Then do it in order from weakest to strongest... She's a goddess, I'm a mortal. You know how the natural order of things goes.

Lykan summons his soul blade, bearing his teeth

Come on... I could be a real problem for you in the future... Best take care of me now, right?

[Loki_the_god]

Loki laughs and shakes his head, Weakest to strongest? Now, please...that makes no sense. Even a chaotic god can tell you that. And oh yes, I will have my powers back.

Where is my daughter? Give me her and I'll give you this child.

[Lykan]

Lykan growls, fur begining to grow from the back of his arms and head, and his teeth slowly sharpening, he rests a hand on his forehead

What psychotic urge are you filling out now, Loki?

[Loki_the_god]

Loki brings a sharpened fingernail to Mhina's throat. Do not question me, Lycanthrope. Just bring her to me!

Or...perhaps I should let Fenrir eat your little girlfriend here...

[Lykan]

Lykan's fur bristles

How can I be sure you won't kill her before I get back? You are a god of chaos, you aren't one to keep your promises.

[Loki_the_god]

Loki shrugs, I suppose your just going to have to trust me...after all...you don't have much of a choice. He draws a bit of blood from Mhina's neck with a sneer.

[Lykan]

Lykan closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. The fur receeds into his skin

If you know where she is, I will get her. Otherwise it will take some time.

[Loki_the_god]

Loki looks over the town for a moment. At a smoke bar...

Lykan, no...

Loki clutches Mhina's throat, violently, Quiet!

[Lykan]

Lykan shakes his head

I will get her.

Lykan turns, heading out of the docks. He activates a mindblank as he heads away

[Loki_the_god]

Loki tosses Mhina to Fenrir who takes hold of her easily. He crosses his arms. And to think, Hel used to be my favourite. She seems quite proud that she's stolen my powers...well, I'll show her that it's not intelligent to mess with a god of fire and chaos.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex appears in a swirl of fire "Mhina?" he looks at Loki and Fenrir "You should have stayed away Loki. And you're a coward for bringing Fenrir along."

[Loki_the_god]

Loki laughs at Alex, Ah, my dearest grandson. Believe me, I don't fear you. Your powers come from me.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex cracks his knuckles "I don't fear you Loki, or you Fenrir. Let her go and stop being a coward."

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye comes running in to the dock area "Mhina? Alex?" his eyes narrow "Loki. And Fenrir, I expected you to show up, the laphound as you are."

[Loki_the_god]

Loki steps forward with a smile, I expected Wukei...but I suppose you'll do. Fire begins to appear around him and it flows toward Hawkeye. If you could actually see chaos, which is all colours and no colours at once, you'd manage to see it shooting from Loki's hand toward Alex.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye concentrates and puts up a shield, but only a weak one, between him and Loki. Some of the fire is blocked by the shield, but only a little amount of it. Hawkeye dives out of the way of the rest of the fire, but gets caught by it. His hands start glowing blue.

Alex stays in the way of Loki's attack, gets hit by the wave of chaos and winces. Overall he doesn't seem to affected by it. A sword appears in his hand, he teleports behind Loki and strikes out at him.

[Fenric]

A dark-furred, red-eyed fox appears and yawns at Loki

Forgetting something, miserable former godlet?

Kazuki looks at Alex

Seems he misses us... how touching...

[Loki_the_god]

Loki laughs, Weeeee! What a predicament!

He motions to Fenrir, Kill her.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye gives a meep of horror and charges Loki, throwing a ball of ice energy at him.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex hears Loki's words and leaps at Fenrir, intent to stop him from killing
Mhina with little regard for his health...

[Kyrian]

Kyrian appears. Jeezus Loki, why don't you pick on someone your own size?

[Loki_the_god]

Fenrir ignores Alex, not scared for his life in the least, as he reaches down with his sharp canines and rips at Mhina's neck. She lets out a scream of pain. He and she are then tackled by the other demigod.

Loki steps aside from the ice. Loki's smile shifts briefly, but he soon wears it again. A pity...she was my best bargaining chip... Loki disappears in a swirl of fire, ignoring Fenrir's predicament.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye growls in what was Loki's direction and runs over to the scrum of demigods

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex gives a howl of rage and repeatedly swings his sword at Fenrir (only stopping if Mhina gets in the way of course)

[Fenric]

Kazuki glides over as well.

If someone would stop fighting long enough to heal her...

[Kyrian]

Kyrian rushes behind Hawkeye, sliding for Mhina.

No. no, no no no.

[Loki_the_god]

Fenrir backs away from the attacks, though he's struck a few times. ...I'll be back...count on it. He transforms into a large black wolf-like creature and bounds away.

[Mhina]

Mhina covers the bite with her hands, blood covering the snow white skin. I'm...sorry...

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex growls at Fenrir "Oh no you don't, no one attacks my sister and remains moving" he teleports, hopefully, onto Fenrir's back and stabs down towards his spine

[Kyrian]

Kyrian slowly attempts to move Mhina's hands and cast every known heal spell.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye runs to Mhina's side "Mhina...are you ok?"

[Fenric]

Kazuki also invokes Inari's healing blessings onto Mhina

[Loki_the_god]

Fenrisulfr lets out a howl of pain as his hind legs become useless. He snaps back at his nephew with his large jaws.

[Mhina]

Mhina thanks those that've healed her. I'm fine...I'm sorry...I don't know what drew me down here...

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex grins. Evily. He bats aside his uncles jaws with his sword "You shouldn't mess with your family Fenrisulfr" he leaps off, and swings his sword down at Fenrir's neck

Kyrian gives Mhina a hug. He then stands and turns to Hawkeye. Never a dull day?

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye winces "Kyrian, Wu's in trouble! Please Mhina, don't follow, stay here and rest" he teleports away in a cloud of purple smoke

[Loki_the_god]

Fenrir shakes his head enough so that his neck is only gashed. He attempts to knock Alex from his back, Our family betrayed us first!

[Kyrian]

Kyrian closes his eyes and vanishes.

[Fenric]

Kazuki drifts over to Alex and Fenrir, red eyes blazing

Need any help, my brother in spirit?

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex uses Fenrir's efforts to knock him down to nimbly leap off his back "I didn't try to kill my sister, you neice, because my grandfather ordered it!" he stabs out at Fenrir's jaw. He calls out to Kazuki "Only if he tries to get away. Otherwise he's mine."

[Loki_the_god]

Fenrir feels his jaw get sliced and he smiles grimly. Well...this is familiar... He stares, unmoving at Alex, Finish it, then... do what you think is 'right.'

[Fenric]

Kazuki watches eagerly, waiting to see if Alex prevails or Fenrir attempts to flee.

I hunger for your strength, demigod! Strive to flee my brother, I pray.

[Alex Shipmaster]

"Oh, I think this is right. By far." he slices down at Fenrir's neck, attempting to decapitate him

[Loki_the_god]

Fenrir winces, closing his eyes and dropping his head as Alex swings. A bright gold collar around his neck stops Alex's sword. The collar seems to glow angrily and Fenrir's eyes open, his gaze blank. Nice try... He claws at his nephew.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex, unprepared for Fenrir's attack, gets slashed by him. Alex growls, his eyes flare to an almost burning colour. He sidesteps and strikes out several times at Fenrir.

[Lykan]

A man in green armor walks into the docks, looking around

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex glances for a second at the man in green "Kazuki, the man who attacked your temple in the past is over there, stop him please." he nods momentarily in the man in green's direction

[Loki_the_god]

Mhina looks up at the man, curiously.

Fenrir gets struck by the attacks and winces, stumbling back. I won't allow him to die yet, says Loki's voice through Fenrir. He strikes at Alex again with his claws.

[Fenric]

(( Sadly, Kazuki did not know about Pho and Kydo as he was away at a foster-home at the time. [the old-fashioned meaning, rather than the modern one] ))

Kazuki scowls

Alex...

[Alex Shipmaster]

"You're a pathetic grandfather, you know that right?" he dodges the claws, but gets clipped slightly. He teleports to the other side of Fenrir and stabs out at him, looking to impale him

((he's ignoring mostly anything, intent on killing Fenrir sadly for Mhina...))

[Fenric]

(( And Kazuki would like nothing more than to drain the strength from a god, so don't feel too bad :smallsmile: ))

[Loki_the_god]

Fenrisulfr lets out a howl of pain as the weapon strikes true. His eyes seem to change back to normal, Why...

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex snarls at Fenrir "Because you followed your fathers orders. You betrayed us. And most importantly of all, you tried to kill my sister." He withdraws his sword and slashes at Fenrir's head

[Loki_the_god]

Fenrir steps back. I wasn't asking you! he yells as he turns and runs with his tail tucked between his legs.

[Alex Shipmaster]

"You don't learn, do you?" he teleports again over to Fenrir and strikes down at his spine again

[Loki_the_god]

Fenrir rolls over. Leave me alone!

[Fenric]

Kazuki hovers near: eager to drain the strength from Fenrir, but unwilling to infringe on Alex' claim

[Lykan]

The man walks up to Mhina, smiling slightly, a sack slung over his back

Mhina Shipmaster?

[Mhina]

Mhina backs away, slightly, Who wants to know?

[Alex Shipmaster]

"You sealed your fate when you sided with Loki. You're going to be as dead as southern fried chicken" He slashes at Fenrir's neck again

[Lykan]

The man smiles

Psyches Vo'Debren. I killed your extended family and your boyfriend.

He draws his blade of light

And now, the killer of you.

He slashes at her chest

[Mhina]

Mhina stares at the man in shock when he says he'd killed Lykan. She screams in pain at the deep wound on her chest. She stumbles backward. Why...why would you do something like that?! Her eyes glow an ice blue and she sends shards of ice at the man.

The sword again strikes the collar and Fenrir growls. His ears then perk as he hears the yell. She's in trouble...

[Fenric]

Kazuki spins at the name

PSYCHES?!?!

Kazuki snarls and flys at over at full speed (which is 40)

(( Kazuki may not have been there, but he surely heard his Dad complain ))

[Lykan]

Psyches grins, slicing through the shards in a single fluid swipe

My orders to eleminate any members of the Howling Wind tribe, as well as any who beared their mark.

He takes another step foreward and swipes at Mhina again, clearly enjoying himself

[Kyrian]

Kyrian appears and throws a bolt of lightning at Psyches.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex looks in Mhina's direction, then at Fenrir. He casts a force cage over him (with all the might that a demigod can muster) and glares at him "Of all the times....we'll finish this later" Alex teleports over to Mhina and Physches

[Mhina]

Mhina doesn't try to step away from the strike. She shakes from both fear and anger. They didn't do anything to you...

[Lykan]

Psyches leaps backwards a good thirty feet, the minor burns on his skin showing miniscule effect on part of the lightning bolts

Your tribe was deemed a threat to the empire, and must be destroyed.

[Fenric]

Kazuki reaches out to drain Psyches' strength.

[Kyrian]

Touch her and die, you freak.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex leaps forwards at Physches, his sword slashing out at him

[Mhina]

Mhina shakes her head, crying. We left you alone!

[Lykan]

Psyches smiles again, unaffected by the shadow-fox's attacks, and rams the full force of his sword into Alex's gut

((Sorry Fenric, but even god's avatars are immune to ability drain and damage... :P))

That was a chance we could not take.

[Mhina]

Mhina screams, ice seeming to pour from her into the ground around her, Stay away from my brother!

[Kyrian]

As soon as Kyrian sees Psyche thrust his sword forward, he leaps over Alex. Drawing his Colt .45s, Kyrian fires four shots at Psyche.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex parries the thrust with his sword, and steps back into a fighting position, ready for Psyche's next attack.

[Lykan]

Okay.

Psyches grins again, deflecting the bullets off his blade towards Alex. He leaps forward again, undetered by the feild of ice around Mhina stabs at her stomach.

[Mhina]

Mhina grimaces as the sword enters her stomach. She creates a sword of her own out of ice and swings at the man's neck.

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex leaps and attempts down on Psyche's sword to deflect it away from Mhina

Alex dives to avoid the bullets, which go just over him

[Kyrian]

Kyrian lands behind Psyche and fires at the back of his knee's.

[Lykan]

Psyches rolls and sidesteps to avoid the bullets and the blade ((assuming everyone's in the position I think they're in...)) and goes to back hand slash Mhina's face with the clawed gauntlet.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian growls an drushes forward with godly speed, aiming to tackle Psyche.

[Mhina]

Mhina ducks out of the way and stabs toward him with her sword. I'm taking you with me...

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex fed up with Lykan's godmodding teleports back to Fenrir to check if he's still there

[Lykan]

Psyches, considering Lykan is such a godmodder, is both stabbed and tackled to make up for it.

[Kyrian]

Kyrian puts the gun to Psyche's back.

Give me a reason, and it better be a DAMN good one.

[Mhina]

Mhina shakes her head, coughing up blood. No...he's mine.

Fen sits in his cage, waiting for the inevitable strike.

Alex walks towards Fenrir with his sword ready to strike "Any last requests?"

Fenrisulfr transforms into his human form and tugs at the collar. Yea...take this damn thing off so you'll be killing me instead of a useless puppet...

Angelus continues to wander around and stops to see the carnage unfolding.

[Alex Shipmaster]

"Why don't you take it off yourself? Why didn't you ignore Loki's orders? Why did you try to kill my sister? You brought all of this on yourself, you useless, pathetic, and as you said, puppet."

[Lykan]

Psyches smiles

Oh yes... Redemption is sweet, isn't it?

He looks up at Mhina, with his cold, fear inducing stare

Just so you know... I die, an army comes. And not that one that Romulus managed to throw together, either. Well trained, magically enhanced, and with the top equipment.

He shifts under the wieght of the man holding him down, still smiling

Oh, what a glorius day... The march of ten thousand soldiers over this demon infested land... Coming to think of it, I might just call them here anyway.

[Kyrian]

Hurry up then Mhina.

[Mhina]

Mhina smiles wickedly, the light gone from her eyes. I don't really care. She stabs him in the throat.

[Lykan]

Psyches grins, blood dribbling from the corners of his lips. He looks up at Mhina and manages to choke out a few last words

Oh... Your boyfriend? He's not coming back. Not without my help...

The golden glow in his eyes fade to milky white orbs, his face still fixed with a look of glee as his life fades away

[Mhina]

Mhina kneels, coughing up blood. As long as you don't come back...

[Kyrian]

Kyrian gets up, and casts CMW on Mhina. You ok?

[Mhina]

Mhina waves off his attempt to heal her. No.

[Ryohoshi]

Angelus walks to the coarpse and begins to chant a prayer.

[Kyrian]

We'll find a way to get Lykan back.

[Lykan]

Psyches stops breathing. His form shimmers and dissipears, leaving behind his equipment...

[Mhina]

Mhina shakes her head, looking down. Why? So he can come back and be killed again? It's best to let us stay dead.

[Ryohoshi]

Angelus looks up at the man with shades Ah, so his name was Lykan?

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex scowls at Fenrir and strikes through the bars of the cage at him.

Fenrir grimaces as he's struck. Yea...fudge you, too, kid... He sinks to the ground as the light leaves his eyes.

Mhina shakes her head, I've had enough of this world... She lifts one of her sleeves to show him the endless scars. I've seen more than I care to...

[Kyrian]

Mhina....is this what he'd want? To have given his life to protect you, only to have you take your own life?

[Alex Shipmaster]

Alex dismisses the cage and the sword disappears from his hand. He sits down heavily on the ground near Fenrir.

Angelus turns to the girl You seem much too sweet and bright to even consider such an option.

[Mhina]

Mhina shakes her head. Who said anything about taking my own life? All I have to do is sit and wait...

[Kyrian]

Kyrian hugs Mhina, if she allows it. I'm sorry Mhina...

[Mhina]

Mhina stares down into the little snow there is on the docks as she is hugged.

[Kyrian]

I wish I knew what to tell you Mhina...

(Honestly, I thought you were gonna try to knock her out then heal her ^.~)

Mhina coughs and doubles over in pain.

Please, let me heal you.

[Mhina]

Mhina shakes her head with what strength she has left as she kneels on the ground, staring at the snow (though her eyes are too bleary to really see anything.)

Mhina falls to the cold ground, though she doesn't notice. The light fades from her eyes.

Angelus sighs and makes his way to the back of the agency to rest.

Kyrian casts several CSW on Mhina.

Mhina shifts and pushes herself off of the ground. What? She glances at Kyrian and glares at him, hatefully.

Qing yuan liang wo... Forgive me. He looks her in the eyes, sadness showing from him. Standing, he vanishes.

Mhina leans over, her hands gripping at the ground beneath her. Tears overtake her. Why?

[Lykan]

Because he still loves you in death... And he wants to be brought back. So he can be with you.
