Foot Infection!

So, I'm off work for two or more days because of an infection in my ankle that, if not caught when we did, might have needed amputation.

Suggested cause? New shoes.

I work two part-time jobs and walk to work. I. Am. So. Boned.

At least you were able to treat it before it got serious. Better to lose a few days off of work than to lose your foot. :smalleek:

Honestly, most important thing with any kind of problem with the potential to be worse, is to rest and make sure you really get rid of it. If you try to get back to work or whatnot a few days early, instead of taking those few more days of rest, you might end up with permanent damage.

((This is especially true for things like carpal tunnel and plantar fasciitis. Don't push it! Make sure you're really really ok, and then wait an extra week or two, and then start doing things again.))
