Ipod help!!!!

Ok well I got the newest ipod with 8 gig for Christmas and have been having trouble ever since i've started downloading videos. Got some spongebob for the 5 year old, and seeing plenty of space left I downloaded the 1 season of walking dead. Well when I tried to purchase it, with plenty of credit it said I didn't have enough room. I've checked and I have plenty of room to spare. I downloaded it on the computer and no matter what I do it will not transfer.
