Where do you host your avatar?

Shish net (http://rav.shishnet.org/). Allows me to cycle them as well, but not on this site since it's not allowed (:

Photobucket is what I used to use before I started using cycling, and it does a pretty good job.

Yeah, Photobucket is a good one. I've been hosting avatars there for several years with no problems. I use imgur for other stuff occasionally, but not for avatars.

I use the space that my ISP allows me to use to create my own home page.
basically, I just dump all images and documents that I need to link to there.
Also, it's easy to remember the URL to them, as the only difference between all of the avatars are the actual file names at the end.
Like Ref1.png, Ref2.png or Ref3.png. So when I decide to change avatars, I don't need to go look up the whole URL.
Which is handy.

Right now I use two separate locations: my livejournal galleries, and Photobucket. I figure if one collapses the other will still be around. Of course I also have them on my computer hard drive, and separately on a USB drive and CD-ROM.

Why yes, in the past I HAVE had a major loss of data due to insufficient backups. Why do you ask?

I recently switched to photobucket and it's been giving me less than any problems hosting. I found that Imageshack thought I violated it's terms of services agreement for some reason.

DeviantArt, its in my Scrap folder. I hope I am not violating some part of my agreement with them, but it works for me.

I just moved everything over to imgur, since some people apparently can't see images hosted on imageshack.

EDIT: It's been OK for the last five hours or so, although the sign-up process is irritating.

I'm on photobucket myself, haven't had any major problems with it (although occasionally things seem to be a bit busy when I try to get link code for my avatars during a switchover).
