I've checked it for the lynx error, but I don't think that's it.
Edit: just tried to post it in this thread and got bounced out:

That's not the only word that'll set it off. Lynx, that is. It's only the most common, if I remember correctly. Don't know what the others are though.

Hmm... the lynx issue is a programmy thing right?
It's a PbP IC post... some programmy-esque syntax. A memo meant to be impersonal. Maybe I'll fiddle with that.
Edit: HA! Victory! Inserting k"][/COLOR] into TO: RE: and/or FR: solved the problem.

From my testing, it appears that only TO: from those three is a problem.

One thing to note is that a colon (':') followed by 2 spaces (" ") is reported to cause problems sometimes. One important thing to note is that a single space (' ') and a double space (" ") normally display as the same thing with most browsers. So, ya know, don't use multiple spaces and colons at the same time.

Or rather, don't use multiple spaces at all. You are using an acceptable typeface, not a typewriter font from the dark ages of typography. There is no sensible reason you should use multiple spaces.
