So I'm probably planning just a little ahead. =P

However, being 16, I feel halloween still deserves celebrating, just now it's all parties (totally legal) and friends.

This year I'm going to try tog et a few friends together and go as the new A-Team, Me being Hannibal, and a few friends playing Face, Baracus, and the looney bin, (I cannot remember his name at the moment =P)

What do you guys want to do this halloween?

Yea Murdoch. =P

Be a creepy mechanic? =P

I'm just gunna end up doing stupid stuff, and being that general 'Weird' grade 12. I thought a lot of the grade 12s were really weird in grade 9/10 and now I understand why. =P Makes school a lot more fun!

Ahh... Halloween..

I still believe it's a celebration invented by the cosplayers so they can afford to walk the streets without being the subject of derision for at least once a year

If I get the time, and start on them early enough, I'll be making awesome costumes for me and my brother.

I think I'm going to try to do Medusa this year. She's a mythological creature that I haven't done before, and I like doing something different every year.

I think I'm going as Illyria, but I'm not really sure yet.

Picking a Halloween costume is difficult for me because I usually don't want to be someone/something that wears a mask and I don't want to shave my beard (one of the reasons I don't cosplay, few characters I like with a full beard). I might just go as Kick-Ass as I love the movie and don't have to shave (I would have to slim down though).

I'm considering going as the TECHNOVIKING (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FwsntHcWiy4).

I'd go as Thor, but a couple years ago I went as Valhallen (from Dexter's Lab).

So I dunno, TECHNOVIKING is awesome, but not so family friendly, and requires lengthy explanation for people who don't come from the Webs.

So maybe something new, like the Barbarian Ninja my friends have always teased me about being. Hm. Or maybe just a traditional viking.

Heh, good question. I always have ideas, lots of ideas in fact, the trouble is my reach can exceed my grasp or I can't decide for so long I end up doing nothing.
Still, I am a bit proud of the fact my picture, and mine alone, got in the cover of a local paper one Halloween for a Nosferatu/Mad Scientist get up I made.

Isn't this a little bit... early?

Usually I'm an elf, but I might do something else this year.

If you're looking for easy look to Shyaporn for inspiration. Very model Halloween. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fMQ4phPPLHA&feature=fvsr)

As you have half the year... you could start a bigger project.
Centaur! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N8aHu33LKxY)
Giant Spider! (http://www.youtube.com/user/trilemma2001#p/a/u/2/HFO2wGoBvc4)

Good luck with that. I'm sure it'll be interesting.

I want to dress as Iroh, but I don't have any money or talent. I could probably go as the Bride of Frankenstein again, but... eh, it's been done. :smallsigh:

Thanks, my hair isn't quite long enough, and I'm not sure what to do about the eyes, but other than that I think I have it figured out.

Only during full moons when I was bitten by a radioactive Neil Patrick Harris.

I guess I could maybe pull off Iroh from Avatar...with brown hair. Mako is the man.

I certainly could, if I could get a good fake beard. Mine simply is not full enough to do the man any justice. Also, bolded for truth.

I'll probably go as a nazi zombie. Been meaning to do that for several years now.

For the past four years I have always worn the same black velvet robe with sliver edging. I always heavily powder my face, shade my eyelids, and wear either scarlet or plum lipstick. I just let the people who see me guess what I am, with a different answer to anyone who asks me. "I'm (a) succubus/devil/vampire/witch/sorcerer/in normal clothes, and life is meaningless." This year I think I'll have outgrown it though.

I've wanted to be a hobbit for a while now, but I can't afford to buy a costume, and don't have the time to sew one. So for the past few years I've just been a nudist on strike.

Last option wins everything.
Also, for me, costume has to be something I can go to parties in. If it impedes me in any way...
Also, I prefer things that I can look dapper in. And what's more dapper than a nazi zombie?

OOOOOH, or go all Victorian. More expensive, but more likely to actually use the individual items! Top hat, vest, pocketwatch, maybe a monocle on a chain, I always pull off the superformal look, could be fuN!

Last Holloween? Theophrastus Bombastus Van Hohenheim.

The aproaching one? Probably the same- that is my Con costume, after all. Unless I put some effort into a Snow Villiers one...

Also, one of the funnier costumes I saw this year: A Hippiecrite. A friend of mine was going around in tie-dye saying "War is the answer."

I'm dressing up all gothy this weekend. In Whitby, Bram Stoker's town, there's a constant horror theme and twice a year everyone dresses up.
