To all others: It is considered bad form to use an avatar without asking permission of the artist. Unless, of course, you have it specifically made for you. Please ask before you use any of the avatars in the portfolios of the artists unless it states in their requisites or on their portfolio site that you may use the avatar without asking permission.

If after you've posted your request to the request thread twice and there is no response, please PM one of the active artists below. (Do not repost your request until at least 48 hours after your original request, please.)

If you are PMing a request please do not PM multiple artists. They don't want to waste their time doing a favour for you if you've already got someone else doing the exact same thing.

If you've made a request but want to change it completely (that is, a whole new concept and not just a tweak to your original request) you may do so without waiting the 48 hours one normally has to wait in between requests. However, if you do this you must cancel your previous request, and you may not change it again until 48 hours after your most previous request.

A slight suggestion: to save loading time to make a post, please make a link to your picture after 3 days to make it easier on dial-up.

I'd love it if someone could come up with a suitable avatar for my username. The art style can be either OOTSish or cartoony...either way doesn't really matter. Just have fun with it! :smallbiggrin:

Anywho, my request is for a frontal shot of a squirrel, wearing a crown on his head (naturally), holding up one of his arms in victory and has a grin on his face. In that raised hand, a black d20 with white numbers is held aloft (a 20 showing forward would rock). If possible, it'd be immeasurably awesome if he was wearing a traditional red king's robe, but that's extra fluff. Speaking of fluff...don't forget the fluffy tail!

I have been trying to get this made for more than two years, and would like to request the creation of a banner depicting the Lord of the Nine Hells in banner form.
Bael, the Warlord of Avernus
The general appearance of a pit fiend, a humanoid head with the ears, eyes and teeth of a cat, flesh the color of rust, and bull-horns curving from his temple. Wears elaborate brass kilts. Carries the sword Abyssbane, a single shaft of dark-gray iron with a simple cross-guard and hilt, wreathed in orange flames. Symbol is a blood red silhouette of a pit fiend surrounded by orange flames on a black, inverted triangle. Approximately 25 ft tall.

Dispater, the Arch-Duke of Dis
A very tall, slender older man with a long white moustache and trimmed goatee, gloomy features, black pupil-less eyes, two small horns on the top of his leg, a pronounced limp that makes him lean on his Iron Staff. Wears conservative iron gray and red robes and cloaks, carries The Iron Staff, a long plain iron bar, and the Rod of Dis, a four-foot length of twisted iron with chain links of adamantine and capped with a huge ruby surrounded with garnets. Symbol is a tower on a red background in a grey inverted triangle. Approximately 9 ft tall

Mammon, the Arch-Duke of Minauros
Reddish-gold skin, huge bat-like wings with gold coins grafted to them, handsome yet diabolical face with large toothy smile, red moustache, and forked red goatee, beady gold eyes, two black horns, bald head, black claws on thin fingers, snake-like tail, prominent gut, cloven hooves. Wears an elaborate kilt running from his stomach to just over his feet and gem-studded black robes. Carries a thin knife of sparking white steel, hilt is made of silver and gold angel bone, pommel is adorned with a lustrous black jewel. Symbol is three gold coins with diabolical faces on a dark green inverted triangle. Approximately 15 ft tall.

Belial, the Master of Pains and Suffering and Lord of Phlegthos
Tall, broad shouldered, slender but athletically built man, delicate facial features, high cheekbones, clean-shaven face, large burning red eyes. Skin seems to be made of white flames, has flames instead of hair, and giant flaming wings. Often smiles. Almost indescribably beautiful, but I don’t expect that. Wears form-fitting black leather and carries a trident made of white flame. Symbol is a black trident rising out of a lake of fire on a black, inverted triangle. Approximately 6.5 ft tall

Leviathan, the Prince of Stygia
Enormous and whale-like. Head is lean and smooth, glittering black eyes on either side of a bullet-shaped head. No nose and ears, smoke wafting from the nostrils on top of his head. Wide mouth filled with nine rows of razor-sharp teeth. Huamanoid torso covered in black and gray scales with giant arms on the sides. Hands are webbed and tipped with massive claws. No legs, whale-like body from below his torso to the end of his massive spiked tail. Wears a diadem with a fist-sized sapphire held in place by a chain made of gold inlaid with black opals. Symbol is a black viper in a block of ice on a blue inverted triangle. Approximately 180 ft long and 30 ft tall, I suggest just showing his head.

Lillith, High Countess of Malbolge
Appears as a extremely beautiful woman with long black hair, glowing amber eyes, black wings, and vampire teeth. Her hair covers her body, which is normally naked but you should give her dark clothing instead. Carries a huge sword made of pure crackling darkness with a hilt of lightning. Approximately 10 ft tall. Symbol is a black lightning bolt sundering a black mountain on a brick-red inverted triangle

Beelzbub, the Lord of the Flies and Master of Maladomi
Appears as a giant and heavily muscled man with bull horns, multifaceted fly-like eyes, and two antennae. Has three pairs of black insect wings and is surrounded by thousands of flies. Carries no weapon and wears regal finery. Symbol is a crowned, dark green fly on an inverted red triangle. Approximately 21 ft. tall

Mephistopholes, the Arch-Duke of Cania
Appears as a slender human with blue-black skin, ice-blue eyes, long horns jutting from his forehead, dragon-like wings, and hooked talons. Wears extremely elaborate and flowing white robes and capes, often studded with diamonds. Carries a ransuer carved from a single shard of crystal and covered with runes. The tips glow with flame, electricity, and cold. Symbol is a stylized, diabolical dark-blue head encased in a silver diamond on an inverted black triangle. Approximately 15 ft tall.

Asmodeus, King of Nessus and Overlord of the Nine Hells
Appears as a mature man with slicked back dark hair and blood red eyes. His skin is very pale and he has a neatly trimmed moustache and goatee. Wears extremely expensive yet conservative red and black cloaks and robes that bring to mind religious attire and carries a scepter carved of pure ruby with an onyx pentagram at its head. Symbol is a pentagram surrounded by eight 9s with a final 9 in the center. Approximately 6 ft. tall.

I would suggest having the Lords submitting to Asmodeus. This would be the Serpent’s Throne, a ruby throne shaped like a coiled snake, at the top of a podium with 8 alcoves next to it, each one occupied by one of the first eight. Asmodeus is of course sitting in the throne. Also, I would appreciate their symbols to be worked into the picture somewhere.
I am also requesting, for the eleventh time, avatars of any of my High Caste Archons, which may be done separately and by different people just as long as they end up getting made.
The Principality: This mighty being is at least half again the height of a tall man and swathed in both billowing robes of green, blue and white and shining armor emblazoned with designs of feathered wings and a seven tiered mountain. The only exposed parts of its body are its stern gray-featured face, topped with a magnificent seven-pointed crown, and its gleaming bronze wings, which catch and reflect the surrounding light in such a way that a corona blazes at its back. It holds aloft a long metal rod in its hand, the design a cross between a royal scepter and a holy symbol; but the jeweled hilt of a sword protruding from its robe shows it to be far from helpless. Feelings of order and respect for the strength of civilizations sweep over you just by looking at it.

The Authority: This huge man is at least as tall as a giant, but much more heavily built beneath its burnished red armor and silver mail skirt; which are seemingly no hindrance despite their bulk. Wings of iron sprout from its broad back, reaching a span of thirty feet when fully spread. It wears a high crested helm with two gilded wings sweeping from the temples and a raised visor that exposes its handsome face. In its hands is a massive curved sword with winged quillions, twice the height of a man, which burns with white fire and is obviously honed to a razor’s edge. Just looking at it fills you with courage and the desire to protect the innocent from harm.

The Virtue: In sharp contrast to the equally awesome and inspiring Archons that you have encountered in the past, this humble being appears downright normal. No larger than a man, and a slight man at that, the only tells to its otherworldly nature are a slight bluish cast to its skin, translucent wings, and an almost unearthly beauty. It bears no weapon or ostentatious regalia; only a simple white robe that its wings protrude from and an almost imperceptible glow to its gentle hands. Despite this, the presence it exudes is like if a god had taken mortal form to walk among you; such is the overwhelming feeling of good in its purest and greatest form.
The Dominion: This celestial is perhaps the most human you have seen so far, with none of the unearthly beauty of the Virtue or the massive bulk of the Authority. Even the Principality is less human, with its gray skin and metallic wings. It looks like a perfectly ordinary human; if one sized up to ten feet in height and with a pair of surprisingly short swan-like wings and bluish gray hair. Its garb is evocative of both a priest and a judge, with white robes stitched with golden geometric shapes on the edges. It carries only a hefty tome in its left hand and a set of golden scales in its right, both glowing with a soft light.

The Throne:
The appearance of this Celestial is a mystery, shrouded as it is in voluminous black robes that prevent you from telling much about its build or body shape beyond the fact that it seems to be humanoid and is the inevitable 10 feet tall. Even its face is covered by a combination of its black hood and a featureless mask, with only pinpricks of golden light shining out at eye level. The only exposed flesh is its hands, which are slate-gray and slender; with long fingers that are steeped in front of it. Dwarfing the archon is its massive throne hovering several feet above the ground, which is made of some unknown silver-gray metal and covered in a corona of flames that can be felt even from this distance. The back of the throne is reminiscent of a wheel with seven spokes, each of which terminates in a melon sized sphere of some material; silver, gold, pearl, crystal, platinum, emerald, and a light that flickers through the spectrum.

No larger than a man, and a slight man at that, the only tells to its otherworldly nature are a slight bluish cast to its skin, translucent wings, and an almost unearthly beauty. It bears no weapon or ostentatious regalia; only a simple white robe that its wings protrude from and an almost imperceptible glow to its gentle hands. Despite this, the presence it exudes is like if a god had taken mortal form to walk among you; such is the overwhelming feeling of good in its purest and greatest form.
The Dominion: This celestial is perhaps the most human you have seen so far, with none of the unearthly beauty of the Virtue or the massive bulk of the Authority. Even the Principality is less human, with its gray skin and metallic wings. It looks like a perfectly ordinary human; if one sized up to ten feet in height and with a pair of surprisingly short swan-like wings and bluish gray hair. Its garb is evocative of both a priest and a judge, with white robes stitched with golden geometric shapes on the edges. It carries only a hefty tome in its left hand and a set of golden scales in its right, both glowing with a soft light.

The Throne:
The appearance of this Celestial is a mystery, shrouded as it is in voluminous black robes that prevent you from telling much about its build or body shape beyond the fact that it seems to be humanoid and is the inevitable 10 feet tall. Even its face is covered by a combination of its black hood and a featureless mask, with only pinpricks of golden light shining out at eye level. The only exposed flesh is its hands, which are slate-gray and slender; with long fingers that are steeped in front of it. Dwarfing the archon is its massive throne hovering several feet above the ground, which is made of some unknown silver-gray metal and covered in a corona of flames that can be felt even from this distance. The back of the throne is reminiscent of a wheel with seven spokes, each of which terminates in a melon sized sphere of some material; silver, gold, pearl, crystal, platinum, emerald, and a light that flickers through the spectrum.
This is a rather large project, so you may have better luck PMing an avatarist or splitting it into more simple requests. Also, try to simplify the requests into the most formulaic enunciation possible.

Try the recommendation in the first post for character request, descriptions are tougher to handle than punctual bullet points.

Sort of seconding this message here, I've seen your request go by multiple times but always felt I'd find new and incredible ways to muck it up. Otherwise I'd love to do something with it.

Try giving your descriptions with less fluff, maybe get some reference pics in there and use clear consise language to dipict exactly what you want. While we all love reading prosey descriptions it does make the task seem a little daunting, I know that caused me to shy away from the project so it's probably the same for others as well.

She wears fitted dark blue robes with silver trim around the collar, sleeves and bottom hem, a black choker-type of necklace with a large, oval amethyst set in the middle, and a silver elven-type circlet with a teardrop-shaped sapphire set in the center on the forehead. She also wears a black belt with numerous tiny vials strapped to it.
9. Pose: Your choice! Something rogue-y, I suppose. EDIT: Now that I think about it, it would be really sweet if her purple pseudo-dragon friend [Azrafrax] was in there, curled up on a tiny pile of gold or something.

Hello, I have never requested an avatar before but I have seen the work of a lot of these talented artists and been very impressed. So, sorry if I am doing this wrong but here goes.

I would like to request two avatars, though one is a re-coloration of the other if that makes things easier.

First Request
Gender: Male

Equipment: Thin golden circlet to hold back his hair. White robes embroidered with runes in gold especially around the edges and miscellaneous embroidery lines also in gold. A billowing cloak/cape behind him also white and long. For the embroidery, I was hoping for something that looked elegant but visible. This might be a bit much for a stick figure, but I will trust in the talent of the artists.

X Any other notable features (scars, tattoos, etc.):
Glowing white eyes, and swirling magic around him forming a shape equal parts a mandala and the flower of life (my current avatar picture) in blue/purple with accents of gold.

X If their skin is a special color, add that:
Light bronze in color. More like a tanned Caucasian then someone with naturally bronze skin tones.

You don't have to copy Ink's or Chris the Pontifex' style, but it should be recognizable as a Amiriatar.

I would like to request an avatar of my favorite D&D character thus far:

1. Gender: Female.
2. Race: Halfling Water Genasi.
3. Skin color: Light Blue
4. Hair Color: Dark teal. Her hair always looks wet.
5. Eye color: Grey.
6. Class: Rogue, Epic.
7. She has a scar on her right cheek that was given to her by a pseudo-dragon that she pilfered and befriended. It is in a crooked 'X' sort of shape.
8. Equipment: She uses a blowgun crafted out of clear blue aquamarine crystal. It has wave patterns carved into it. She wears fitted dark blue robes with silver trim around the collar, sleeves and bottom hem, a black choker-type of necklace with a large, oval amethyst set in the middle, and a silver elven-type circlet with a teardrop-shaped sapphire set in the center on the forehead. She also wears a black belt with numerous tiny vials strapped to it.
9. Pose: Your choice! Something rogue-y, I suppose. EDIT: Now that I think about it, it would be really sweet if her purple pseudo-dragon friend [Azrafrax] was in there, curled up on a tiny pile of gold or something.

It's likely that I'll use both avatars interchangably like I do with my other avatars (although Ink's version of Amiria hath become my default avatar and even Chris the Pontifex himself thought that Ink's Amiria was superior to his versions I still love Chris' work, especially the "nightgown and doll" line).

I've grown rather tired of the absolutely atrocious dwarven runecaster avatar I made for myself and figured, rather than create something equally embarassing, I had might as well post a request here.

A huge walking statue that once must have been magnificent stone. But now is weathered, cracked and mossy. Two eyes bore out from their sockets, staring and judging with a cold stare.
Astride his shoulder, sits a young pink-haired girl, no more than 8 years of age, in a neat and bright frock, her face warm and cheery and her eyes full of innocence and kindness.

The Seeker of Perfection has a thin, almost skeletal body modified with hundreds of magical devices. It, notably, has a Buzzsaw attached to its left arm, and myriad of other weapons on its body. Its right hand has been replaced by a mass of metallic cables that writhe and contort frighteningly, but still work as a hand. Very little of its original body can be seen, and the end result appears much like a Revenant in a suit of complex, overly thick armor.

The Seeker of Perfection has a thin, almost skeletal body modified with hundreds of magical devices. It, notably, has a Buzzsaw attached to its left arm, and myriad of other weapons on its body. Its right hand has been replaced by a mass of metallic cables that writhe and contort frighteningly, but still work as a hand. Very little of its original body can be seen, and the end result appears much like a Revenant in a suit of complex, overly thick armor.

Yeah that's good. On a bus right now during a 13 hour drive to Missouri so I'll get started when I'm on a surface that isn't all rumblely. In further note, this is the first earnest desire I've had to remove my own legs as I would probably have a lot more space. :smalltongue:

Ok, I'd like the character for which I'm named, SamBurke. Some of these details can't be seen on a stick figure, but hopefully it indicates the overall look. Basic description:

Tall (6'2"), black hair, dark eyes. Scars all over every visible part of his body. No glasses, as the scars are rather the most important part of the thing.

Kind of jumping backwards (to the left), whilst firing to his right. Legs should be off the ground but hopefully awesome-looking, not awkward-looking.

Wearing a duster coat which flares out in front of him (to the right), in the direction from which he jumped. Also, dog tags flying to his right as well.

I don't really have a preference on equipment or pose (accept I'd like him facing more or less forward). I hope, though, that my vagueness simply facilitates artistic license rather than making anything more difficult. Thank you to anyone who takes the time to help me out.

I'm not sure if it's okay to post a third time, but I was curious if there was a specific thing I could change in my request that would make it more palatable to the avatarists here. I just realized that doing a Goliath in stick figure might be difficult, so if that's it I'd be happy to change it to a human with short black hair.

I'd also suggest including a desired pose (or two) and equipment with a note that you're happy if the artist has a better idea. I, for one, find it much easier to make an avatar if I have a detailed request, rather than a vague one.

He is supposed to look similar to a human version of Demogorgon (his muse and lord. in our campaign he ended up taking Demogorgon's spot as Prince of Demons, Lord of the 88th layer of the Abyss, and shaped the layer to his liking.)

Just wait a bit. The proccess can go from a few minutes to days depending on the free time they got or the internet connection. For example I sometimes need a wek for an avatar and sometimes it needs 10 minutes.

I didn't see you ask for any weapon so I just gave him a longsword and the shield seen in the pic.
I put the holy symbol on the stomach because it is now part of his armor.

Im looking for an avatar, a Male Human, blue scaly flesh and muscular build. The character sheet in my sig has a description of him as well has his height weight eye and hair color. I would like him to have a succubus to accompany him, he uses a battleaxe, heavy steel shield and chain shirt. He has a face wrap to conceal all of his face except his eyes.

He is supposed to look similar to a human version of Demogorgon (his muse and lord. in our campaign he ended up taking Demogorgon's spot as Prince of Demons, Lord of the 88th layer of the Abyss, and shaped the layer to his liking.)

So if you want him to be in the Abyss that would be cool to!

The Seeker of Perfection has a thin, almost skeletal body modified with hundreds of magical devices. It, notably, has a Buzzsaw attached to its left arm, and myriad of other weapons on its body. Its right hand has been replaced by a mass of metallic cables that writhe and contort frighteningly, but still work as a hand. Very little of its original body can be seen, and the end result appears much like a Revenant in a suit of complex, overly thick armor.

I'd like to request a character, my first. He was a Fighter who was attempting to seek "Enlightenment" Through becoming one with every style of weapon, but really only ever got to five before the group died in it's... fifth? Campaign. He holds a place in my heart as being my first(and possibly one of my best) character Ideas, hence My account name.

I'd like to request him having a Tan-ish white skin tone, Reaching into a bag (Bag of holding? :D ) With four different hilts sticking out, and a Longsword on his back, hilt to the top left, going towards the right and down. Small smirk on his face.

I most often picture him wearing a white sleeveless shirt with a couple of grease stains (car oil, since he's a mechanic) and black slacks. He also has short red hair in a faux-hawk. I'll give a picture of the character I based his appearance off, if that helps (it's Sasagawa Ryohei from Katekyoshi Hitman Reborn, if that rings a bell).

Also, if at all possible, it'd be cool to have his car, or a part of it in the picture, like maybe him sitting on its hood, since it's an essential part of his character. It's a white 1970 Chevelle SS with a sun emblazoned on the hood. I'll also include a picture of the car, if anyone feels like tackling it.
