So I was wondering if anyone knew of some good sites for submitting written works for critique?

Those with a good reputation and dedicated following, all that jazz.

Best one I've ever used is Critique Circle (http://www.critiquecircle.com/). Used to use it a lot when I wrote more, you get awesome feedback. Basically works by you having to critique other peoples' work before you can post stories. And people crit them so they can post their own. Functions very well, and people are generally nice and literate.

Prose mostly. Short stories, chapters and the like.

Good deal. Joined few days ago and been critiquing and submitting. Looks like a pretty nice place.
