I may be about to begin a new campaign/world in the 3.X. So, I'm looking for good sources of homebrew rules. Specifically, there are well-established problems with the game as written that many thoughtful people on the web have tried to address. I was hoping that some of you could direct me to good sources.

In addition to good sources already published, I'd welcome direct suggestions for homebrew rules that improve the game.

Thanks.

Regardless of what you may think of the game otherwise, the Pathfinder rules provide numerous improvements for classes that needed them, and they're available for free here (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/). In particular, the Fighter, Rogue and Paladin have been considerably upgraded and the Barbarian and Bard got some love if you ignore the baffling nerfs to Bardic Music and Rage.

Probably find a lot of good stuff trolling through BG, but I don't know any specific threads to refer you to.

Wish I could offer you something more substantive or less blatantly obvious, but my online-fu is weak.

You've also got the Hypertext d20 SRD (http://www.d20srd.org/) which includes most of Unearthed Arcana.

Grant the benefits of VoP to anyone of a tier less then 3 without the item restrictions.

Someone made a massive ban list to keep casters at bay, including the Test of Spite they play on this board.
